Penile blood flow problems

Penile blood flow problems

Diseases in men's bodies are the most dangerous, especially genital diseases. Viruses or bacteria often occur, which can easily lead to male infertility. And it is more difficult for people to conceive now because people's physical health is affected by too many factors. The penis is an important part of the male body. Once a disease occurs, it needs to be treated in time. What should I do if the blood flow to the penis is not smooth?

The word "stroke" is well known to everyone. It is a general term for acute cerebrovascular diseases in traditional Chinese medicine. The "penile stroke" mentioned here refers to erectile dysfunction (ED). Its clinical manifestations refer to the penis being flaccid and unable to erect, or being erect but not hard or not lasting long, and being unable to have normal sexual life. Not only do "penile stroke" and cerebral stroke have similar clinical manifestations, but the pathogenesis is also closely related.

The erection of the penis requires a large amount of blood supply. Once the blood vessels in the corpus cavernosum of the penis are blocked, the penis will lose its erectile function. Therefore, any factor that blocks the blood from entering and being stored in the corpus cavernosum can cause ED. When arterial atheromatous plaques form, they often block the blood flow of smaller arteries first. The average diameter of the corpus cavernosum arteries of the penis is 1-2 mm, which is thinner than the heart and brain arteries. Once embolism occurs, it is most likely to be blocked.

Atherosclerosis can affect people's sexual ability, so they need to pay attention to their eating habits and lifestyle. Adults over 35 should eat less fatty and delicious foods, and limit the amount of animal viscera they like to eat, such as liver, tripe, and intestines. People who smoke more than 10 cigarettes a day should gradually reduce their smoking to less than 5 cigarettes or even quit smoking completely. People over 50 should mainly smoke vegetable oils. They should also strengthen physical exercise and do sweat-inducing exercises 3 times a week. These are very beneficial for preventing atherosclerosis and reducing the degree of vascular hardening.

Erectile dysfunction not only seriously affects men's quality of life, hurts men's self-confidence and reduces life satisfaction, but it is also a "barometer" and "weather vane" of men's health. This is the latent period of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. The risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases after 3 years is as high as 80%. Therefore, men should pay enough attention to it.
