Will a testicular cyst disappear on its own?

Testicular cysts usually do not disappear on their own. Testicular cysts generally refer to a small bubble growing on the male testicles. They are benign diseases and generally do not migrate or worsen. If the testicular cyst is small, it may not need to be treated temporarily. It is recommended to have regular follow-up visits and a scrotal ultrasound examination every six months. If the testicular cyst is large and even has symptoms of compression, causing scrotal pain, you can go to the hospital outpatient clinic immediately to choose surgical treatment. Surgical treatment mainly involves opening the scrotum, followed by unroofing the scrotum to relieve pressure or detaching the scrotum, which can alleviate the patient's clinical symptoms.

Cyst is a kind of disease with a cystic structure with a cystic wall outside and fluid or other components inside. Whether the cyst will disappear on its own depends on the characteristics of the cyst, the size of the cyst, the total number of cysts, and the body's female hormones.

Ovarian cysts generally have three outcomes: the first is spontaneous regression, the second is to remain the same, and the third is to develop again. The cysts contain mostly liquid. If the cysts are generally small, with a diameter of less than 5 cm, they contain less liquid and can be absorbed and then spontaneously resolved. This condition is common in physiological cases. If the cyst is very large, with a diameter of more than 5 cm, most of them are physiological. They are cysts that grow due to symptoms and contain more substances. It is difficult to guarantee that they will disappear on their own. The contents grow and develop relatively slowly, and the cyst will remain the same without expanding. If the symptoms persist and the disease continues to develop, the cyst will become larger and larger, which will be more troublesome. It is possible that a benign cyst will turn into a malignant one.

Therefore, if you really have a cyst on the uterus or ovary that cannot be eliminated, and the cyst is more than 5 cm, persists, or even continues to grow, you must not be complacent, and you must undergo surgery in time. For small cysts, you can continue to observe their development trend, such as physiological cysts of the uterus and ovaries, cervical cysts, etc., which generally do not require treatment. If it is a Bartholin's gland cyst, you can still observe it if there is no symptom. If it continues to grow, you need to do ostomy surgery.
