Why do men drool while sleeping?

Why do men drool while sleeping?

We often see children drooling because they secrete saliva when they grow teeth, or people with mental illness drool because the brain is out of control and the mouth secretes mucus. If a man drools while sleeping, it is likely that he has a disease in his mouth or is infected with bacteria and has an inflammation. Remember to brush your teeth and clean your mouth before going to bed.

One of the reasons is poor oral hygiene: the temperature and humidity in the mouth are most suitable for the reproduction of bacteria, and the accumulation of food residues or carbohydrates in the crevices and on the tooth surface can easily lead to tooth decay and periodontal disease. Stomatitis can promote saliva secretion. If there is oral bacterial infection, the pain is obvious and it is easy to drool. If local medication is needed to promote the healing of ulcers, the drooling will disappear automatically.

Drooling during sleep, salty taste, and yellowish pillowcase are probably due to poor oral hygiene, accumulation of food residues, and the accumulation of micro-integration, which may cause gingivitis and even a small amount of gum bleeding. Therefore, drooling during sleep and yellowish complexion.

Causes: Deformity of the two front teeth: Deformity of teeth is the third reason for drooling during sleep. Especially in patients with protruding teeth, the front teeth protruding forward are more obvious, the lips are often open, the front teeth are difficult to completely cover when sleeping, and the upper and lower lips are often open, which makes it easy to drool. It is best for such patients to correct their teeth as soon as possible.

Three reasons, neurological disorders: In addition to the above-mentioned oral problems, some systemic diseases may also cause drooling during sleep. The regulation of saliva secretion is completely reflexive, and the so-called fantasy is an example of reflex saliva secretion in daily life conditions. Therefore, the occurrence of neurological regulation disorders can also produce the situation of drooling during sleep. Some neurological disorders or other systemic diseases can cause autonomic nervous system disorders, which may occur in the case of insomnia caused by sympathetic nervous excitement, and the brain will send out wrong signals, causing increased saliva secretion.

Reason four, drug factors: In addition, drooling is one of the side effects of taking certain anti-epileptic drugs, so you need to be careful when choosing the drug.
