Why do boys have blood in their stool?

If a man has blood in his stool, it may be caused by hemorrhoids, which are mainly caused by a poor diet or excessive drinking. Especially after eating spicy or pungent foods, irritating foods and drinking too much, the gastrointestinal mucosa is in a state of blood and edema, causing erosion, exudation, and bleeding. When the stool is bleeding, it may be red blood, and there will be dripping or gushing bleeding. If it is a small amount of bleeding, it is usually most common to see blood on the toilet paper.

If it is bleeding, it is recommended to take Yunnan Baiyao capsules or hemorrhoids blood-activating granules for treatment. If the bleeding is severe, further anal examination is required to confirm the cause of the bleeding. Most hemorrhoid bleeding requires surgical removal. If it is accompanied by inflammatory changes in the intestine or gastrointestinal tumors, electronic colonoscopy can be performed before surgical removal.

Male patients with bloody stools are often diagnosed with the following symptoms:

1. Hemorrhoids, including internal hemorrhoids, external hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids; 2. Anal fissures, which are mainly related to the medical history of habitual constipation. Repeated irritation causes fissures around the anus, and each bowel movement is mainly manifested by bleeding and anal swelling and pain; 3. Patients with perianal abscesses or anal fistulas will also experience bleeding during defecation, which is an infectious symptom; 4. Tumors of the duodenum or anal canal, especially malignant tumors. Common symptoms are blood in the stool, pain around the anus, unformed stools, and even alternating diarrhea and constipation. In the later stages, there will continue to be a significant decrease in appetite, and in the late stages, it is also very easy to develop intestinal obstruction. For malignant tumors, the most effective treatment is surgical treatment.

Boys who bleed after defecation should not be anxious at first, but should go to the hospital for outpatient treatment immediately. If the blood in the stool is red, it is considered that the bleeding location is close to the anus. 1. The more common causes are bleeding caused by mixed hemorrhoids. Mixed hemorrhoids are varicose venous blood vessels. When abdominal pressure increases or constipation occurs, it is easy to cause hemorrhoidal venous sedimentation and swelling, which in turn causes bleeding. 2. Anal fissures. If the stool is hard and dry, it is easy to damage the skin of the anal canal and cause lacerations, and then there is blood on the surface of the feces when cleaning the stool. Rectal polyps, rectal adenomas, and even malignant tumors of the duodenum sometimes also damage the mucosa or blood vessels under the mucosa, causing bleeding. If a boy's stool is dark red, it is likely upper gastrointestinal bleeding. The bleeding site is far from the anus, and it is necessary to find out whether there is a history of gastric or duodenal bleeding. Therefore, if a boy has blood in his stool, it is considered to be upper gastrointestinal bleeding or lower gastrointestinal bleeding. If necessary, rectal examination, colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and colon capsule endoscopy should be performed to confirm the location and cause of the bleeding.
