Why does it hurt when men urinate blood?

Normally, human urine should be light yellow or colorless and transparent. If you find that your urine suddenly turns dark yellow, it is likely that you have drunk too little water or have internal heat. However, some men may have symptoms of blood in their urine. Generally, blood in the urine will make people feel very painful. However, some people do not feel any pain despite the phenomenon of blood in their urine. What is going on?

There are many reasons why men urinate blood. Hematuria is the most common and important symptom of urinary and male reproductive system diseases. The main cause of hematuria is urinary and male reproductive system diseases. In addition, it can also be caused by other diseases outside the urinary system, such as cardiovascular disease, blood disease, allergic disease, etc.

For urology, the clinical significance of macroscopic hematuria is even more important and should be taken seriously. During diagnosis, it should be distinguished from pigmented urine, hemoglobinuria, and menstrual blood or hemorrhoidal bleeding mixed in urine. The diagnosis of patients with hematuria is to solve two problems: location and quality, that is, where the blood comes from and the cause of the bleeding.

What are the causes of hematuria? - Common diseases

1. Urinary tract stones: including kidney, ureter, bladder or urethra stones.

2. Urinary and reproductive system infections: such as pyelonephritis, renal tuberculosis, cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis, etc.

3. Primary nephritis: including acute and chronic nephritis, focal nephritis, benign acute hemorrhagic nephritis, etc.

4. Secondary nephritis: purpuric nephritis, lupus nephritis, IgA nephropathy.

5. Urogenital tumors: including kidney tumor, ureteral tumor, bladder tumor, prostate tumor, etc.

6. Other urinary system diseases such as nephroptosis, wandering kidney, congenital polycystic kidney, etc.

7. Urinary system damage: damage to the kidneys caused by various chemicals or drugs, hematuria caused by sulfonamide drugs, etc.

There is blood mixed in the urine, sometimes blood clots can be seen, and it may be accompanied by eczema; patients with hematuria without eczema should be vigilant and go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time. For patients with hematuria who may have stones, urination is interrupted, and after changing body position, urination can continue. When hematuria is accompanied by urgency, frequent urination, astringent urine or eczema, and systemic symptoms such as chills and fever, fatigue, dizziness and nausea, other infections may be complicated. In order to more accurately and effectively treat the condition, it is recommended that patients go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment in time.
