HPV is a disease that is common among women. It is contagious and has a wide range of manifestations, including warts. We need to pay attention to certain things when HPV occurs, and it has many treatments. There are also certain requirements for the infected population. So is HPV contagious in men? Human papillomavirus is a spherical DNA virus belonging to the papovaviridae family, which can cause proliferation of the squamous epithelium of the human skin and mucous membranes. Symptoms include common warts, genital warts (condyloma acuminatum), etc. With the rapid increase in the incidence of genital warts among sexually transmitted diseases and the increase in cervical cancer and anal cancer, human papillomavirus (HPV) infection has attracted more and more attention. On October 27, 2017, the World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer published a preliminary list of carcinogens for reference, and human papillomavirus types 6 and 11, human papillomavirus β (except types 5 and 8) and γ are on the list of three types of carcinogens. There is a possibility of infection. For HPV virus, HPV virus is human papilloma virus, and HPV virus type 16 is a high-risk human papilloma virus. This type of virus is a high-risk HPV virus. HPV virus may cause cancer, but the probability is very low, so men infected with this virus basically have no symptoms. If the above symptoms appear, you need to avoid unclean sexual intercourse, and intramuscular injection of interleukin or interferon can effectively relieve it. Patients with early symptoms of condyloma acuminatum are prone to the frenulum of prepuce, coronal sulcus, foreskin, urethra, penis, around the anus and scrotum. At the beginning of the disease, the warts are pale red or dirty red millet-sized growths, soft in nature, with a slightly pointed top, and gradually grow larger or increase in number. The early symptoms of condyloma acuminatum can develop into papillary or cystic, with a slightly wide base or bands, and granules on the surface. The warts often enlarge in the anus and look like cauliflower. The surface is moist or bleeding. Pus often accumulates between the grains and emits a foul odor. Scratching may cause secondary infection. During this period, patients must refrain from sexual intercourse. For patients, especially when the warts have not completely subsided, sexual intercourse should be prohibited to prevent the disease from worsening, spreading or infecting others. If there is no new lesion after more than a month after the lesions have subsided, condoms should be used during sexual intercourse to prevent infection and the frequency of sexual intercourse should be controlled. |
