Why is it that a man bleeds from below?

During sexual intercourse, neither men nor women will bleed normally. If bleeding occurs, it is likely that improper force was used during sex and there was trauma, especially for bleeding in men, trauma is the biggest cause of bleeding. In addition, too short frenulum, too long foreskin, and reproductive infections can also cause bleeding.

In clinical medicine, it is very common for men to bleed due to trauma after sexual intercourse, especially for men who are having sex for the first time. They have little sexual experience and often have sex when the female vagina is not lubricated enough. If they use too much force at this time, trauma will occur. There are generally the following situations:

1. The frenulum is too short:

Some male friends have the frenulum under the glans penis too short and too tight. If the foreskin is still loose after the penis is erect, this part of the skin is easy to bleed due to repeated friction. Especially when the vagina is not lubricated enough and the foreskin is too long, it often causes eczema and inflammation of the glans penis and foreskin, which makes it easier to bleed during sex.

2. Foreskin is too long:

When the penis is erect, the glans cannot be exposed. This kind of foreskin is more likely to cause tearing and bleeding during sexual intercourse. Sometimes this kind of foreskin will be pulled back behind the glans and get stuck due to excessive force, causing the so-called incarcerated foreskin. The glans will become swollen and painful, or even necrotic. In this case, it is not enough to bleed a little. At this time, immediate treatment is necessary. If the foreskin cannot be restored, the foreskin must be cut or removed immediately.

3. Reproductive infectious diseases:

Penile bleeding may be caused by seminal vesiculitis, prostatitis, stones, etc. Seminal vesiculitis is mainly caused by excessive fatigue, bacterial infection, excessive sexual intercourse, etc. The specific cause and disease need to be determined after a specialist examination.

Traumatic bleeding after sexual intercourse in men is usually not a big deal. You can use a clean tissue or towel to directly compress the bleeding area, and the bleeding will stop on its own after 20 minutes. However, in order to understand the real cause and avoid unnecessary sequelae, it is best to go to the hospital for examination.
