White discharge in the glans groove

White discharge in the glans groove

There is white secretion in the glans groove, which is smegma. Because of the existence of the foreskin, the glans groove is easy to hide dirt and dirt, and needs to be cleaned frequently, otherwise frequent irritation will lead to male diseases such as glansitis. There are many reasons for the white secretion in the glans groove. At the same time, we must understand the factors that increase it and take corresponding measures to avoid affecting our reproductive health.

Just as the skin of other parts secretes sebum, the sebaceous glands of the foreskin also secrete sebum. Because the foreskin cannot be turned up when the foreskin is too long or the foreskin is too long, the sebum accumulates in the space between the inner surface of the foreskin and the glans penis.

Some male friends have more smegma, but they are not very clear about the reasons for the increase of smegma. In fact, there are many reasons for this situation. For example, infectious ones are often caused by unclean sexual intercourse, infection with Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans, Trichomonas, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, fungi, Gonorrhea or other bacteria; or because the foreskin is too long and not cleaned enough, the unclean things between the foreskin and the glans, that is, smegma, will accumulate, irritating the local foreskin and mucous membrane to cause inflammation.

Increased reasons

If the foreskin is too long, it is easy to harbor dirt. The sebum secreted by the foreskin cannot be discharged and forms a smelly white "smegma" with the sediment in the urine. Generally, the smegma will not cause any serious problems as long as you pay attention to daily cleaning. However, some men suddenly have more smegma. What's going on?

Experts say there are many reasons for this. For example, infectious ones are often caused by unclean sexual intercourse, which may be caused by Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans, Trichomonas, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, fungi, Gonorrhea or other bacteria; or because of the foreskin being too long and not being cleaned enough, the dirt between the foreskin and the glans, that is, the smegma, will accumulate, irritating the local foreskin and mucous membrane to cause inflammation.

Prevention

1. Pay attention to personal hygiene and wash the foreskin frequently. Generally, it is enough to wash with clean water. It is best not to use detergent because it will irritate the foreskin.

2. If the foreskin is too long, it should be treated promptly and circumcision should be performed if necessary.

3. Try to choose loose and comfortable pure cotton underwear.

4. Under the long-term stimulation of smegma, the foreskin and glans may develop redness, swelling, itching and other symptoms. Once such symptoms occur, go to the urology department of the hospital for examination and treatment in time.

Treatment method

1. Cleaning smegma The only way to maintain health in daily life is to do local cleaning. The foreskin must be turned out for washing to avoid the occurrence of smegma and inflammation. Remember to turn it back after washing to avoid causing incarcerated phimosis. If urination is not smooth or there is some pain, you should go to the hospital for medical treatment in time.

2. Circumcision surgery

Cutting off an excessively long foreskin is currently the most effective method for treating smegma, so it is recommended that patients should go to a regular medical institution for circumcision surgery.
