Why do testicles move?

Why do testicles move?

The testicles are on the inner side of the scrotum, one on the left and one on the right. The testicles can slide up and down, back and forth, so it is normal for the testicles to move. And a little force can lift the testicles, which is healthy. And it should be noted that the testicles do not descend to the bottom when they are just born, but may still be in the middle, and will only descend with age.

Basic Introduction

The testicles are located in the scrotum, one on each side.

A flat elliptical body with a smooth surface, divided into inner and outer sides, anterior and posterior edges, and upper and lower ends. The anterior edge is free; the posterior edge has blood vessels, nerves, and lymphatic vessels entering and exiting, and is in contact with the epididymis and the lower part of the vas deferens (testis). There is a thick fibrous membrane on the surface of the testis, called the tunica albuginea. The tunica albuginea thickens along the posterior edge of the testis and protrudes into the testis to form the testicular septum. Many connective tissue septa emanate from the septum, dividing the testicular substance into many testicular lobules. The testicular lobules contain coiled seminiferous tubules, and the epithelium of the seminiferous tubules can produce sperm.

Structure

The surface of the testicle is covered with a thick fibrous membrane called the tunica albuginea.

The marginal white membrane thickens and protrudes into the testis to form the testicular septum. From the septum, many connective tissue septa emanate, dividing the testicular parenchyma into many testicular lobules. The testicular lobules contain convoluted seminiferous tubules, the epithelium of which can produce sperm. The connective tissue between the tubules contains interstitial cells that secrete male hormones. The seminiferous tubules combine to form the straight seminiferous tubules, enter the testicular septum and interweave to form the testicular rete. From the testicular rete, 12 to 15 testicular efferent ductules emanate, exit the upper part of the posterior edge of the testis and enter the epididymis.

feature

Testicles are male internal reproductive organs. Normal men have two testicles, located in

On the left and right sides of the scrotum. The testicles are oval and grayish white. The length of an adult testicle is 3.5-4.5 cm, the width is 2-3 cm, and the thickness is 1-2 cm. Each testicle weighs 10-15 grams. Generally, the left testicle is about 1 cm lower than the right testicle. Some people have one testicle that is larger than the other, one that is higher than the other. If the difference is not big, it is normal. There are a large number of curved seminiferous tubules in the testicles, which contain interstitial cells. The seminiferous tubules are where sperm is produced. The number of sperm produced in a person's lifetime is astonishing. A single ejaculation of 3-4 ml contains 300-400 million sperm, and as few as 100-200 million. The number of sperm produced in a lifetime can reach more than 1 trillion. Sperm production is easily affected by many factors such as temperature. If the temperature around the testicles is too high or affected by chemical toxins, sperm production will be impaired. Interstitial cells produce androgens, which are closely related to male secondary sexual characteristics and physiological functions.
