What does low ejaculation volume have to do with?

For men, the most embarrassing thing is problems with their reproductive organs, such as impotence, premature ejaculation, short duration, and low ejaculation volume. Not only will it directly affect the sex life between husband and wife, but it will also lose face as a man. Generally speaking, there are two reasons why a man has low ejaculation volume. One is the problem with the kidneys in the body, and the other is the genitals. This article will briefly introduce what low ejaculation volume is related to.

What to do if the amount of semen is low?

There are three possible reasons for low semen volume :

(1) Dysfunction of the seminal vesicle and prostate : We know that semen can be divided into two parts, a small part is sperm and the majority is seminal plasma. Seminal plasma is composed of secretions from accessory glands such as the seminal vesicle and prostate. If the secretion function is reduced due to dysplasia of the seminal vesicle or prostate, inflammation or androgen deficiency, the amount of semen will decrease.

(2) Closure or narrowing of the ejaculatory duct : Sperm and seminal vesicle secretions must enter the urethra to be discharged, and the subsequent exit is the ejaculatory duct, that is, the ejaculatory duct is formed after the umbilicus of the vas deferens merges with the seminal vesicle duct. If the ejaculatory duct has a "checkpoint", the seminal vesicle fluid and sperm cannot be discharged or the discharge is reduced. Therefore, during ejaculation, only a small amount of fluid is discharged from the prostate duct, which opens independently from the urethra, and the amount of semen is naturally significantly reduced.

(3) Diverticula or urethral stricture in the urethra : Diverticula or urethral stricture in the urethra will cause part of the semen to be retained in the diverticula during discharge and not be discharged completely, or be blocked above the stricture area and not be discharged completely. It is recommended to go to a professional hospital for detailed examination and targeted treatment as soon as possible.

Some couples may experience infertility because the amount of semen ejaculates during sexual intercourse is too small, which is also embarrassing for normal sex. Some men choose to take some Western medicine, such as Viagra. Although it has certain therapeutic effects, it is not very good for the body. Here we suggest that men can take care of their diet in their daily lives.

1. Eggs: Eggs are the best supplement for sperm, as they are rich in protein, fat, various vitamins and zinc, which is an important component of sperm cells. As the saying goes, “you are what you eat.”

2. Shrimp is delicious, and has high tonic and medicinal effects. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that it tastes sweet and salty, is warm in nature, and has the functions of strengthening yang, benefiting the kidneys, replenishing essence, and promoting lactation. Those who have been ill for a long time, have shortness of breath and fatigue, and have no appetite can use it as a tonic food. People who often eat shrimp have the effect of strengthening their bodies.

3. Oysters: After the age of 24, the quality and quantity of sperm in men go downhill. Male semen contains a large amount of zinc. When the body lacks zinc, it will affect the quantity and quality of sperm. Among all foods, seafood such as oysters, shrimps, and crabs have the richest zinc content. The zinc content in a small oyster can meet the daily requirement (15 mg), thereby enhancing men's sexual ability.

4. Goji berries can nourish the kidneys. Eating goji berries in moderation can nourish sperm and improve the quantity and quality of sperm. Goji berries can also improve eyesight and are good for the eyes. If a man has spermatorrhea, eating goji berries in moderation can have a good therapeutic effect on spermatorrhea and can also enhance sexual ability. However, people with colds, fevers, or inflammation should not eat goji berries.

5. Mulberries Mulberries can help improve this "reproductive sub-health". Many prescriptions for treating dead sperm syndrome use mulberries as an important component of medicine. Therefore, for men who are actively preparing for the "next generation" of human creation, it is a good idea to eat more mulberries in this season. Mulberries have the effect of regulating sweating and improving sperm quality, so male friends should eat some appropriately according to their own situation.
