What are the symptoms of testicular stones?

Many male friends do not pay much attention to the health of the testicles, but the testicles are also very easy to get diseases, such as testicular stones. When testicular stones appear, the patient will have obvious testicular enlargement and pain, which will have an impact on the patient's life in serious cases. The testicles are an important part of the reproductive organs, so male friends must pay attention to their health.

Testicular stones are a clinical syndrome characterized by multiple calcifications in the testicles. Microlithiasis, also known as testicular seminiferous tubule calcification, is rare, with an incidence of 0.05-0.06%. Usually there is no sound behind the calcification lesions, and it is often seen in testicular atrophy. It can be seen in patients with male infertility or low fertility, cryptic testis, testicular embryonic cell tumor, orchitis, etc. Testicular microlithiasis has a tendency to develop testicular tumors. Testicular lithiasis itself is a benign disease, but it may cause malignant changes.

Clinical manifestations

The main clinical manifestations of testicular stones, in addition to the general symptoms of stone poisoning, general fatigue, and low fever, are mild local testicular pain and a feeling of dropping. It is difficult to diagnose in the early stage. A small number of acute onset cases are often accompanied by epididymal stones. It can be manifested as enlarged testicles, obvious pain, slightly hard and smooth texture, sometimes accompanied by thickening of the vas deferens, nodules can be touched, or beaded, etc. When combined with testicular hydrocele, the testicles can be touched to have a cystic feeling and obvious enlargement. When there are prostate and seminal vesicle stones at the same time, the patient may have frequent urination, urgency, pain, low libido, impotence, spermatorrhea, premature ejaculation, hematospermia, etc.

treatment

The treatment of testicular stones should also follow a regular anti-stone treatment program. Early detection and early diagnosis are the key to successful treatment. In the early stage, testicular enlargement, dull pain or mild tenderness, weak erection, and premature ejaculation may occur. Systemic symptoms are not very obvious or may include mild fatigue. The diagnosis of testicular stones mainly relies on symptoms, signs, blood tests, and other local examinations. In the later stage, due to the formation of caseous necrosis and cold abscesses caused by testicular stones, sinus ducts are formed after rupture, and they do not heal for a long time, surgical treatment is required. Total or partial orchiectomy is the root cause of organic impotence.

harm

Testicular stones are similar to stones in other organs. The pathological changes are caseous changes, cavitation and fibrosis. This causes the destruction of the testicular structure, damage to the testicular interstitial cells, and the function of the interstitial cells to secrete male hormones will decrease, and even cause testicular atrophy. This leads to low male sexual function and sexual dysfunction such as impotence, premature ejaculation and ejaculation pain. Since this disease belongs to the pathogenesis of chronic wasting diseases, the disease significantly increases the psychological pressure on patients. The mental burden will reduce the patient's sexual desire, sexual function decline and aggravate impotence.
