How to effectively treat chancroid

Chancroid is actually a sexually transmitted disease, and both men and women may be affected by this disease, so it must be treated scientifically, including systemic treatment or local medication, but the most important thing is to pay attention to prevention in life.

1. Systemic treatment: Systemic treatment of chancroid means using drugs. In clinical practice, antibiotics are usually used to treat chancroid, such as erythromycin, lijunza, etc., which are quick to take effect, but have relatively large side effects.

2. Local treatment: The method of local treatment is to apply some erythromycin ointment on the patient's injured area; if an ulcer occurs, you can choose hydrogen peroxide to clean the area, and then clean and disinfect the local area. If lymph node swelling occurs, you must go to the hospital for injection treatment according to the condition.

3. Treatment of concurrent HIV infection : Chancroid is a disease that usually takes a long time to recover, so the treatment is very slow and usually cannot solve the fundamental problem in the short term. Therefore, experts recommend using a combination of two antibiotics for treatment. Check again 2-3 days after treatment to determine whether there is a concurrent pathogen infection. Generally speaking, the healing time of ulcers is closely related to the size of the ulcers.

4. Surgical treatment: In the late stage of chancroid, surgical treatment can be performed. For male patients with phimosis, medication or wet compress must be used first, and the skin excision surgery should be used only after the disease is cured.
