Find out the real culprit of men's frequent urination and inability to urinate completely. See which one you are

Why do men urinate frequently, urgently, and incompletely? Prostatitis is an inflammatory reaction of the prostate caused by stimulation of the male prostate by pathogenic microorganisms or non-infectious factors. There are many pathogens that cause urinary tract infections, such as mycoplasma, chlamydia, gonococci, staphylococci, bacilli, etc., and urethritis can easily induce prostatitis if it is not treated in time.

Frequent urination, urgency and incomplete urination are relatively common symptoms of men's diseases. The main reasons for frequent urination, urgency and incomplete urination in men are as follows:

Frequent urination and incomplete urination are caused by genital infection:

Male genital and urinary tract infections usually refer to the male genitals and nearby organs being invaded and infected by various external pathogens, causing these organs to become diseased and their functions to be damaged. Male reproductive infections include urethritis, mycoplasma infection, chlamydia infection and some transmitted diseases.

Frequent urination and incomplete urination are caused by prostate hyperplasia:

Prostatic hyperplasia is a common disease in elderly men. The direct pathological reaction of prostatic hyperplasia is urethral obstruction, which causes frequent urination, urgent urination, and incomplete urination. With the development of hyperplasia symptoms, urethral obstruction gradually worsens, urine cannot be emptied, and the amount of urine retained in the bladder continues to increase, which increases the internal pressure of the kidneys on both sides, causing bilateral hydronephrosis, impairing kidney function, and leading to chronic uremia.

Frequent urination and incomplete urination are caused by chronic prostatitis:

Symptoms of chronic prostatitis include frequent urination, urgent urination, painful urination, incomplete urination, dripping urine or white viscous secretion from the urethra. In addition, there is often swelling and pain in the whole body, subtle pain and discomfort around the genitals, cool and damp scrotum, swelling and pain in the waist and back, and weakness in the lower limbs. Is frequent urination, urgent urination, and incomplete urination urethritis or prostatitis? The urinary tract symptoms of urethritis and prostatitis are basically similar, and they also need to be diagnosed and treated in combination with other physical symptoms. Urgent urination, frequent urination, and incomplete urination must be treated with the right medicine. When these symptoms appear, the cause must be found out in time and the medicine should be prescribed according to the symptoms. Do not take medicine randomly. All medicines are poisonous. If you take medicines indiscriminately, not only will it not cure the disease, it will also lead to drug resistance, making it more difficult to treat the disease and you will regret it.

How to treat frequent urination in men

1. Bladder training therapy

Enhance the nervous system's ability to control urination, reduce bladder sensitivity, and reverse abnormal urination habits.

2. Oral product therapy

You can choose the medicine suitable for your condition for oral treatment after consulting a doctor.

3. Lockdown therapy

Although occlusion therapy can relieve frequent urination and urgency, it will cause some damage to the urethra or bladder. Improper operation may cause inflammation.

4. Estrogen therapy

Take small doses of estrogen for treatment. However, estrogen should be used with caution for men, so as not to turn yourself into a sissy.

5. Surgical treatment

Pelvic or sinus lithotomy: Opening the renal pelvis and removing stones, staghorn stones or renal cisterns, sometimes requires an internal pelvic or sinus lithotomy.

Renal parenchyma lithotomy: If the renal stones are large and cannot be removed through the renal sinus, the renal parenchyma needs to be opened to remove the stones.

Partial nephrectomy: This treatment for frequent urination is suitable for multiple stones in the primary renal pole (mostly in the lower pole of the kidney) or in the dilated and poorly drained renal clavicle. The primary renal pole or the renal clavicle can be removed together with the stones.

Nephrectomy: If one side has kidney stones and severe hydronephrosis or renal abscesses, which has caused severe damage to or loss of kidney function, and the other side has good kidney function, the affected kidney can be removed.

6. Dietary adjustment therapy

Improve living habits, eating habits, and sleeping habits. For patients who have prostate disease and are undergoing treatment, it is advisable to drink more water, not hold urine, eat more vegetables and fruits, avoid spicy food, smoking, and drinking a lot of alcohol.

In daily diet, you should pay attention to properly control the intake of salt to help the kidney retain water. You can drink light salt water and low-concentration sugar water, and do not drink a lot of high-calorie beverages to prevent excessive calorie intake from causing rapid weight gain. If the body loses a lot of potassium, you should supplement with potassium-rich foods, such as mushrooms, cabbage, beans, peanuts, walnuts, watermelons, bananas, etc.

Red dates and ginger soup: Wash 30 red dates and 3 slices of dried ginger, add appropriate amount of water into the pot, cook the red dates over low heat until soft, add 15 grams of brown sugar and drink it all at once, take 10 times in a row (once a day or every other day).

Turtle meat and fish maw soup: 150 grams of turtle meat, 30 grams of fish maw, add appropriate amount of water, slice the turtle meat and cook it together with the fish maw, add a little salt for seasoning, then drink the soup and eat the meat and fish maw.

Mutton and Shrimp Soup: 150g mutton, 30g shrimp, 40g garlic. Wash the mutton and cut into thin slices for later use. Boil the shrimp with appropriate amount of water, add garlic, green onion and appropriate amount of fine salt, and add the mutton slices after the shrimp is cooked. After the mutton is cooked, you can drink the soup and eat the meat and shrimp.
