Causes of angiogenesis

Refers to the generation of new blood vessels from pre-existing blood vessels by budding or intussusception through the proliferation and migration of endothelial cells. It is regulated by a series of stimulating and inhibiting factors. Congenital venous wall weakness and poor venous valve structure are the main causes of the disease. Heavy labor, long-term standing and increased abdominal pressure caused by various reasons can make the valve bear excessive venous pressure. In the case of poor valve structure, it can cause incomplete valve closure and blood reflux due to the thin muscle layer of the shallow vein wall and the lack of connective tissue around it. Blood reflux can cause the veins to grow and thicken, resulting in varicose veins. Due to the increase in venous pressure in the lower limbs, a large number of capillaries may proliferate and increase permeability in the foot and boot area, resulting in pigmentation and lipid sclerosis. Due to the accumulation of a large amount of fibrinogen, the exchange between capillaries and surrounding tissues is blocked, which can lead to nutritional changes in the skin and subcutaneous tissues.
