How are skin allergies caused? What are the causes of skin allergies?

The skin is a barrier that our body uses to defend against external invaders. With this layer of protection from the skin, it is not easy for bacteria to enter our body. So what are the common factors that cause skin allergies?

1. Pollen: In the pollen transmission season, tiny pollen particles will be scattered in the air during the transmission process and fly everywhere with the flow of air. Some of them will be inhaled by people and absorbed by the skin.

2. Dust: Dust allergy is an allergic reaction to microorganisms living in dust and is the most common allergy. Dust allergies include cotton fibers, fur and various fibers, animal fur, etc.

3. Cosmetics: The most typical cosmetic allergy is fragrance allergy, and cosmetics containing alcohol such as astringent water will also cause certain irritation to the skin. Others such as biochemical preservatives, fruit acids, etc. will cause different irritations to different skin types.

4. Food: Seafood, mangoes, and nuts are common foods that can cause allergies.

5. Drugs: Penicillin, sulfonamides, etc. may cause skin allergies.

6. Age: Aging may be an important reason for skin sensitivity. Some people's skin was not sensitive a few years ago, but has become sensitive in recent years. This is because young and healthy skin has a layer of weakly acidic sebum membrane on the surface to retain moisture and protect the skin from external damage. However, with age, this sebum membrane is not as healthy as before, so that some sensitive substances can easily invade the skin.

7. Pets: Sensitive skin can easily develop allergies due to the fur of domestic pets. The main reason for this kind of pet allergy is the protein secreted by the oil glands on the bodies of cats and dogs. When pets lick their fur, these proteins are attached to the fur, and then scattered into the air and attached to human skin.

8. Seasonal changes: Due to various environmental factors, allergens such as bacterial spores and pollen dispersed in the air will release a large amount of histamine, a compound that is almost distributed throughout all tissues of the human body, causing facial skin allergies.

9. Temperature changes: The temperature fluctuates, causing redness and hotness on the face of sensitive people.

10. Ultraviolet radiation: causes facial skin allergies.
