2. Smooth bowel movements

Therefore, patients with hypertension should avoid constipation. Because the increase in abdominal pressure during defecation can affect blood pressure, it is more obvious for people with difficulty in defecation. Therefore, patients with hypertension can take some laxatives when they have difficulty in defecation. Eat more vegetables rich in fiber on a daily basis, and develop the habit of regular bowel movements every day.

3. Eat three lows and two highs

Diet is closely related to everyone's health. It plays a very important role in regulating blood pressure. Good eating habits can promote the recovery process. Patients with high blood pressure should adhere to the principle of low animal fat, low sugar, low salt; eat more high protein and high fiber (vegetables). The "three lows" principle of diet can avoid the increase of blood pressure caused by unhealthy diet, while "two highs" is an important dietary method to effectively lower blood pressure.
