The occurrence of prostatitis in adolescents is related to three factors

Prostatitis is a common disease among men. Some men will suffer from this disease during adolescence. So, what are the causes of prostatitis in adolescents?

Cause 1: Smegma

Teenagers with prepuce that is too long often suffer from balanoposthitis and urethritis due to smegma. The bacteria infected in these places will retrogradely infect the urethra and ejaculatory duct, which are open from time to time, and infiltrate the prostate, causing prostatitis. It is reported that the youngest age for juvenile prostatitis is 12 years old.

Phimosis and prepuce are also common in boys. If the foreskin is too narrow and cannot be turned up to expose the urethral opening and glans penis, it is called phimosis; if the foreskin opening covers the glans penis but can be turned up to expose the penis, it is called prepuce. Both can cause prepuce and glans inflammation, followed by urethral opening or anterior urethra stenosis, and dysuria. If the foreskin is too long for a long time, the fluid secreted from the small glands at the neck of the glans penis becomes a muddy sediment. It is a yellow cheese-like substance that smells very bad. It is smegma. If the smegma is attached to the surface of the glans penis or gathered in the coronal sulcus for a long time, it is easy for bacteria to multiply and cause local inflammation, swelling and pain. The long-term stimulation of the smegma can also induce penile cancer. According to surveys, more than 90% of penile cancer patients have a history of phimosis and prepuce. Therefore, if a child with phimosis is found, parents should take him to do circumcision in time.

The second temptation: masturbation

Boys and girls in puberty generally have a sexual secret that cannot be told, which is masturbation. Masturbation is like a devil tormenting thousands of teenagers. The so-called masturbation, in a narrow sense, is to touch one's own external genitalia with one's hands to satisfy psychologically, thus producing a kind of masturbation phenomenon.

Occasional masturbation is not a disease, nor does it cause much harm to a person's body and mind, because people who masturbate occasionally rarely experience loss of appetite, mental fatigue, dizziness, weakness in limbs, etc. due to physical exhaustion. However, if masturbation is frequent and becomes a habit, and even becomes a mental burden that is difficult to extricate oneself from, it is an abnormal phenomenon. In severe cases, it may lead to psychological abnormalities and sexual dysfunction, affecting physical and mental health.

Frequent masturbation and excessive indulgence in sex in young people lead to widespread and persistent congestion of the prostate. Congestion is a major feature of inflammation. Along with congestion, various symptoms of chronic prostatitis appear, such as fatigue, mental depression, frequent ejaculation, back pain, dribbling urination, feeling that the urine is not completely emptied after urination, and thin watery secretions or thicker milky white fluid sticking to the urethra. There is also a slight burning and discomfort in the urethra during urination. Because it is caused by non-bacterial factors, it is called "chronic aseptic prostatitis."

The third cause of prostatitis: tonsillitis

Many people have a misunderstanding about the prostate, often going to two extremes. When prostatitis has not yet occurred, they neglect and look down on me; after prostatitis has occurred, they treat me like a tiger or a wolf, thinking that I have an incurable disease. In fact, this is because people do not know me and do not understand me.

The prostate gland is prone to inflammation because it is one of the three main latent lesions of systemic infection in humans. The other two lesions of systemic infection are caries and tonsils. Doctors regard these three infection lesions as three bad guys. They are causing trouble and turmoil in the human body. They gather hundreds of bacteria and viruses to fight with human white blood cells. In the parts under their jurisdiction, the fierce battle between the two sides causes redness, swelling, inflammation, edema, rupture, fertilizer, and infection, causing our masters to have fever and pain, and they cannot sleep peacefully day and night.

Tonsils are most likely to become inflamed during childhood, with local manifestations of glandular enlargement, hyperplasia, and severe congestion. Symptoms include itchy and painful throats, general discomfort, and difficulty swallowing. If purulent, high fever, chills, local body aches, and fatigue may occur. Inflammation of the tonsils may affect the urinary system and the prostate, so male tonsillitis and prostatitis are listed as potential lesions in the body in medicine.
