Introduction to early AIDS skin symptoms

AIDS is a highly harmful infectious disease and a complex symptom of acquired immunodeficiency. AIDS is prone to complications of a series of opportunistic infections and tumors. AIDS is divided into three stages: acute, asymptomatic and AIDS. In the early stages of AIDS, it is also accompanied by some skin symptoms.

1. Acute phase

It usually occurs about 2-4 weeks after the initial infection with HIV. The main clinical manifestations are fever, sore throat, sweating, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, joint pain, lymphadenopathy and nervous system symptoms. Most patients have mild clinical symptoms, which last for 1-3 weeks before being relieved.

(ii) Asymptomatic period

This stage can be entered from the acute stage, or can be entered directly without obvious acute stage symptoms. This stage generally lasts for 6-8 years. However, there are also cases where the disease progresses rapidly or does not progress for a long time. The length of this stage depends on many factors, such as the amount and type of the infected virus, the route of infection, and the body's immune status.

(III) AIDS stage

This is the final stage after HIV infection. The patient's CD4+ T lymphocyte count drops significantly, mostly <200/mm3, and HIV plasma viral load increases significantly. The main clinical manifestations of this stage are HIV-related symptoms, various opportunistic infections and tumors. HIV-related symptoms: mainly manifested as fever, sweating, and diarrhea lasting for more than one month; weight loss of more than 10%.

Common symptoms of HIV-related opportunistic infections and tumors: fever, sweating, lymphadenopathy, coughing, sputum, hemoptysis, dyspnea, headache, vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea, gastrointestinal bleeding, dysphagia, loss of appetite, oral leukoplakia and ulcers, various rashes , decreased vision, dementia, epilepsy, limb paralysis, weight loss, anemia, incontinence, urinary retention, intestinal obstruction, etc.
