How to treat excessive underarm sweating, remember these three points!

In summer, due to the hot weather, many people tend to sweat easily. Do you know what to do if your armpits sweat a lot? Do you know why you sweat a lot in summer? Today, I will introduce you to some knowledge about sweating in summer. Friends who are interested can come and have a look!

Generally, the sour smell of sweat from our armpits can be caused by many reasons. Generally, there are two types of sweat glands in our body. One type is small sweat glands, which are distributed all over the body. These sweat glands can sweat and regulate body temperature.

Another larger gland is called the apical serous gland, which is distributed in special areas such as the armpits and pubic area, with the largest number in the armpits.

This is why people often sweat more under their armpits.

Generally speaking, excessive sweating under the armpits due to heat conduction is a physiological phenomenon and does not require treatment. However, if you have severe body odor, we recommend that you undergo surgical treatment.

Want to know if you have excessive sweating? It's very simple. Turn on the air conditioner and adjust the temperature to 26-28 degrees Celsius. Sit quietly for a while. If you are still sweating, or if you sweat profusely after a little activity, then you may be suffering from "excessive sweating".

1. Pay attention to your diet

Don't eat too much spicy food, especially things that produce odor, such as onions, because they will emit an unpleasant odor when they are excreted as sweat during the body's metabolism.

You should eat more calcium-rich foods such as milk, soy products, shrimp skin, kelp, fish, bone soup and green leafy vegetables.

2. Pay attention to hygiene

Generally, our sweat will emit a certain odor only after being decomposed by certain microscopic bacteria. Therefore, keeping the body clean can reduce the rapid growth of bacteria, so that our body odor will not occur.

You can bathe two to three times a day with disinfectant (such as Dettol) or disinfectant soap; if you have to go to work and cannot bathe frequently, you should also clean your armpits regularly.

If you sweat a lot after exercise, you should take a shower as soon as possible, otherwise bacteria will grow and multiply, making the odor stronger.

3. Wear cool clothes

Because long-sleeved clothes, especially sweaters, will increase sweating, accelerate the bacteria to decompose sweat, and the odor cannot dissipate, so it gets worse and worse.
