Many male friends often encounter a strong urge to urinate in their lives, and they rush to the toilet but cannot urinate smoothly. Most people do not take it seriously and think it is just a small matter. However, I want to tell you that when you often have a strong urge to urinate but cannot urinate, your body may have a problem. 1. Prostate disease Benign prostatic hyperplasia is the most common benign disease that causes urinary problems in middle-aged and elderly men. The main manifestations are the proliferation of prostate stroma and glandular components in histology, prostate enlargement in anatomy, clinical symptoms mainly of lower urinary tract symptoms, and bladder outlet obstruction in urodynamics. Another more serious disease is prostate cancer. There are usually no special symptoms in the early stages of prostate cancer. When cancer cells grow, the prostate enlarges, squeezes the urethra and causes dysuria. These cancer cells can spread to other parts of the body with the blood. The course of the disease generally develops slowly, and in the late stage it can cause symptoms such as bladder neck obstruction and distant metastasis. 2. Urinary tract infection The more typical clinical symptoms of urinary tract infection are mainly the following three aspects: (1) Abnormal urination. Common abnormal urination of urinary tract infection is frequent urination, urgent urination, and painful urination. Urinary incontinence and urinary retention may also be seen. Chronic renal failure caused by chronic pyelonephritis may have polyuria in the early stage, and oliguria or anuria in the later stage. (2) Abnormal urine. Urinary tract infection can cause abnormal changes in urine, common ones include bacteriuria, purulent urine, hematuria, and pneumaturia. (3) Low back pain. Low back pain is a common clinical symptom. Kidney and peripheral diseases are one of the common causes of low back pain. When the renal capsule, renal pelvis, and ureter are irritated or the tension increases, it can cause pain in the waist. Lower urinary tract infection generally does not cause low back pain. Inflammation of the kidney and perirenal area, such as renal abscess, perinephritis, perirenal abscess, and acute pyelonephritis, often causes persistent severe bloating and pain in the lower back. The low back pain caused by chronic pyelonephritis is often soreness. |
