The incidence of male infertility is about 10%. About 50% of them are caused by female factors alone, about 30% by male factors alone, and about 20% by both sexes. In fact, there are some small methods that can also allow men to test themselves and determine whether they have infertility. Here are three small methods for you.

Three signs or predict male infertility

Signal 1:

If you touch the spermatic cord from top to bottom and find a large, soft, tortuous mass in the scrotum, you should be careful because it may be varicocele. It will increase the temperature of the testicles, and the stagnation of venous blood will affect the testicular metabolism, thereby interfering with spermatogenesis and causing a decline in semen quality.

Signal 2:

If there is testicular swelling and pain, and the testicles gradually shrink after relief, it may be testicular torsion or traumatic atrophy after orchitis. This is often accompanied by irreversible damage to sperm cells. If the testicles fail to descend into the scrotum and remain in the abdominal cavity, it is called cryptic testis. The high temperature in the abdominal cavity is not conducive to the production of sperm, and the risk of testicular malignancy is greatly increased.

Signal three:

Observing semen can also partially reflect fertility. Normal semen is grayish white or slightly yellow. If it is pink or red, it is bloody semen. The normal amount of semen is 2-6 ml. More than 7 ml is too much. Not only will the sperm density decrease, but it will also easily flow out of the female vagina, resulting in a decrease in the total number of sperm. If the total amount of semen is less than 2 ml, it is a small amount of semen. Less than 1 ml is too little, which can easily lead to infertility. Generally, semen will turn into liquid in 15-30 minutes after ejaculation. If it still cannot change its shape after more than 30 minutes, it is clinically called semen liquefaction, which is also a cause of infertility.

If you are not married yet, or you are preparing to get married, or you are married but do not have children yet, please carefully check whether you have any of the symptoms and signals mentioned above. If so, please go to the hospital for a check-up in time to avoid infertility in the future, when it will be too late to regret.
