There is a mysterious reason why men can't lift their heads

The stress and worries in men's lives have caused most men to lose interest in sex and become impotent. So why do men become impotent? What are the causes of male impotence?

Many men cannot accept the problem of erectile dysfunction or impotence. Impotence seriously affects men's daily life, study and work. Here, I will tell you the reasons for men's impotence. If you don't know or want to know, please come in and take a look.

Reasons for men's impotence

1. Drugs

Studies have found that drugs used to treat hair loss in men or drugs used to treat enlarged prostate glands may suppress not only erectile function but also sexual desire, possibly by reducing circulating levels of the male sex hormone dihydrotestosterone, which helps men maintain sexual drive. Although these drugs can help with hair loss and enlarged prostate glands, their side effects include impaired erectile function.

2. Gum disease

Chronic periodontitis and infected gums may increase the risk of impotence. Results from experiments on mice show a relationship between impotence and gums, but the relationship between human periodontitis and impotence and its mechanism of action are not clear. Gum disease is a sign of poor overall health and is also associated with an increased risk of heart disease, another risk factor for impotence. Gumitis means there is a potential problem with blood supply to the gums, which can also indicate problems with blood supply to other parts of the body.

3. Psychology

It is well known that psychological factors have a significant impact on sexual function. The latest research results of more than 3,000 men aged 57 to 85 years old show that if a wife is too close to her husband's friends and spends more time with them than with the couple, the risk of having difficulty in getting or maintaining an erection increases by 92% compared to men whose wives follow the rules. Of course, this phenomenon is more common among middle-aged and young people because they are very sensitive to masculinity. After the age of 70, the concept of masculinity of elderly men has become blunt and no longer sensitive, so they will not be confused by this reason.

4. Cycling

As early as the 9th century BC, the Scythians of Iran discovered the relationship between horse riding and impotence. A survey published in the International Journal of Sexual Medicine in 2005 showed that long-distance cycling can also increase the risk of ED in modern people. Among men who ride at least 3 hours a week, 4% have moderate or severe ED, while only 1% of runners of the same age have ED. This may be because sitting on a narrow seat for a long time compresses the nerves and blood vessels leading to the penis, causing a certain degree of damage, which ultimately affects the blood supply to the penis.

5. High blood pressure

Uncontrolled high blood pressure can damage blood vessels and cause arteriosclerosis, which affects the rapid blood supply when needed. However, some antihypertensive drugs such as beta-blockers and diuretics can also increase the risk of ED. The correct approach is to take antihypertensive drugs consistently and make appropriate changes in lifestyle, such as maintaining a healthy diet and increasing physical exercise, which can help lower blood pressure.
