What is the reason for itchy and small bumps on the glans?

In daily life, I believe that many men pay special attention to their reproductive health, because it is not only related to their physical health, but also to family harmony and offspring reproduction. And the male genitals will have various problems due to unclean environment or hygiene. For example, the glans will itch and many small bumps will grow at the same time. So, what is the cause of this situation?

Young men often worry that they have tumors, and some are afraid of sexually transmitted diseases. First of all, pearly papules are not a disease or a sexually transmitted disease. Basically, every male has it, and it is very normal. Pearly papules clinically manifest as white, skin-colored or light red papules that do not fuse with each other and are arranged in one or several rows along the coronal groove of the posterior edge of the glans penis. It is commonly known as "glans pearl stain". In medicine, it is named pearly penile papulosis, and its structure is normal connective tissue hyperplasia.

The diagnosis mainly depends on the location and shape of the rash. There is no specific treatment for this disease, nor does it require treatment. The rash is the size of a millet grain, similar in color to the surrounding skin, and is not painful or itchy. Although it has no effect on urination or sexual life, it causes great psychological pressure. This disease has no effect on the health and physiological functions of the penis. The manifestations are small white, skin-colored or light red papules, with a single diameter of 1-3mm, translucent, shaped like small pearls, and a smooth surface. They can be in the shape of several needle-tip-sized beads, or in the shape of threads or sharp hairs. The rashes do not fuse with each other and are arranged in one or several rows along the coronal groove at the posterior edge of the glans penis. They can partially or completely surround the glans penis. It is more common in young men aged 20-50 years old and has no unconscious symptoms.

Generally no treatment is required, but electrolysis or laser treatment can be used if necessary.

It can be seen that in daily life, men must ensure their genital hygiene, wash it regularly, and choose cotton underwear with good breathability. At the same time, they must also pay attention to hygiene and safety during sexual intercourse to prevent the occurrence of reproductive diseases and avoid unnecessary troubles for themselves and their families.
