Some people in life are prone to STDs because of their messy private lives. Among the many STDs, genital warts are the most mentioned. Men with genital warts not only have itchy vulva, but also some small bumps on the side of the glans, which brings great pain to the patient. So how to treat genital warts? I believe many people want to know, so let me tell you! Treatment principles Pay attention to whether the patient is infected with gonorrhea, chlamydia, mycoplasma, trichomonas, fungi and other pathogens at the same time. If so, they should be treated at the same time. If the patient's spouse or sexual partner has condyloma acuminatum or other sexually transmitted diseases, they should be treated at the same time. 1. Surgical treatment Single, small warts can be removed surgically; giant condyloma acuminatum can be removed with Mohs surgery, during which frozen sections are used to check whether the damage has been removed cleanly. 2. Cryotherapy Using liquid nitrogen at a low temperature of -196℃, cryotherapy is used to treat condyloma acuminatum to promote the necrosis and shedding of wart tissue. This method is suitable for warts with a small number and small area. 1-2 treatments are feasible, with an interval of one week. 3. Laser therapy Condyloma acuminatum is usually treated with CO2 laser and ablation. This treatment is most suitable for warts on the vulva, penis or perianal area. Single or a small number of multiple warts can be treated once, while multiple or large warts can be treated 2-3 times, usually with an interval of one week. 4. Electrocautery Use high-frequency electroacupuncture or electrocautery to remove the warts. Method: Local anesthesia, followed by electrocautery. This treatment is suitable for small warts. 5. Microwave therapy Using a microwave surgical treatment machine and lidocaine local anesthesia, the tip of the rod-shaped radiation probe is inserted into the sharp wet wart base. When the wart becomes smaller, darker, and turns from soft to hard, the thermal radiation coagulation is complete and the probe can be removed. The coagulated lesions can be removed with tweezers. To prevent recurrence, the remaining base can be coagulated again. There are many treatments for condyloma acuminatum, but I think that the above treatments are not enough. You should also change your bad habits, especially avoid promiscuous sex in your private life. Personal hygiene is also very important. You should change and wash your underwear frequently and keep your personal toiletries separately. |
