There are many reasons for poor sleep quality, and the following are some of them.

1. High pressure and tense emotions. When we think about something, whether it is joy, anger, sadness, worry or fear, it means that our internal organs are forced to work overtime. Even if some organs are very tired, they cannot rest alone, so poor sleep occurs.

2. Gastrointestinal discomfort. We can only get a good sleep quality if there is sufficient blood flow to the heart and brain during sleep. If the food in the stomach is not completely digested before going to bed, a lot of blood will still accumulate in the stomach and intestines to help digestion, which will reduce the amount of blood supplied to the heart or brain, resulting in poor sleep. Chinese medicine says "If the stomach is not in harmony, you will not sleep well", which is the reason.

3. Insufficient essence and blood. According to traditional Chinese medicine, all substances in the body are divided into two categories: yin and yang. Yang means movement, excitement, and warmth, while yin means stillness, calmness, and coldness. The daytime belongs to the world of yang, and the yang in the body is strong, so we will not feel sleepy; the nighttime belongs to the world of yin, and the yin substances such as essence and blood in the body will shock the yang, and the yang will be forcibly suppressed, so we will sleep. If the essence and blood in the body are insufficient, it will not be enough to shock the yang at night, and we will not sleep well.

We need to find solutions to the above reasons for poor sleep quality. Don't put too much pressure on yourself, cultivate some hobbies to relax yourself, and find ways to vent. If you have stomach discomfort, you must go to the hospital for examination and treatment. Don't have too much emotional ups and downs, and maintain a calm state of mind. Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables and ensure a reasonable and balanced diet.
