In daily life, there are always various accidents. So when you encounter an accident, you must keep calm and don’t panic. Otherwise, it is very likely to lead to more serious consequences. For example, testicular torsion is a very serious accident. However, if you encounter such a situation, you must go to the hospital for treatment in time. Timely treatment can still heal well. (1) Surgical reduction: After the diagnosis of testicular torsion is made, surgical reduction should be performed as soon as possible, and the operation should be completed within 6 hours of the onset of symptoms. After the twisted testicle is reduced, observe whether the blood circulation is normal, and then perform intermittent suture fixation of the testicle, spermatic cord and scrotal inner layer of the tunica vaginalis to prevent recurrence after surgery. If the testicular blood circulation is found to be extremely poor during the operation and cannot be restored after reduction, the testicle should be removed. (2) Manual repositioning: This can usually be tried at the beginning of the disease. Analgesics and antispasmodics should be given first, and the horizontal and upward testicles should be gently repositioned half an hour later. After successful repositioning, the scrotum should be supported with a "T" band to allow the affected testicle to fully rest. However, manual repositioning cannot prevent recurrence. (3) It is an important principle that patients suspected of testicular torsion should undergo surgical exploration promptly. Especially for patients whose testicles have been removed on the other side, special attention should be paid to protecting the survival of the testicles to avoid irreparable consequences caused by delay. The purpose of testicular torsion is to save the testicles. The occurrence of impotence after testicular torsion is not only related to the degree of testicular torsion, but also has a significant impact on the time from onset to diagnosis and confirmation. Clinical data show that the incidence of impotence is about 15% for patients who undergo testicular torsion within 5 hours after onset, and the incidence of impotence can reach 25% for patients who undergo testicular torsion within 10 hours. If the incidence exceeds 10 hours, the incidence of impotence is even higher. Therefore, long-term follow-up is required after testicular torsion surgery, and the main observation is the size of the testicles. Generally, follow-up is conducted for 3 to 6 months after surgery. Now, are all male friends very clear about it? In fact, there are still many ways to treat testicular torsion very well, but it is best for everyone to pay more attention to their physical safety in normal times, and pay attention to protecting important parts during daily activities. |
