Testicular pain is more common in young men and is rare in the elderly. The pain can be experienced as an attack or can occur on both sides at the same time. The pain can be a pulling pain or a dull pain. The pain can last from a few minutes to a few days. Testicular pain can be treated by prostate fluid examination, and white blood cells can be found in the prostate fluid of most patients. Acute testicular pain is easy to diagnose and relatively easy to treat. Chronic testicular pain is prone to recurrence and is difficult to cure. The treatment of testicular pain should be based on the determination of its cause. If the cause cannot be found for the time being, sedative and analgesic treatment can be used. If necessary, spermatic cord procaine blockade can be used to block the vicious cycle between the pain source of neuralgia and the brain's pain center. Excessive anxiety and excessive focus on sexual performance can cause sexual dysfunction such as psychogenic impotence. Traditional methods of treating orchitis are antibiotics, analgesics, and surgical drainage, each of which has its own advantages and disadvantages. Antibiotics and analgesics can only temporarily relieve pain, not cure the root cause, and the effect is not immediate. Moreover, long-term use will make the pathogenic bacteria resistant to the drugs, and the side effects are also serious. Since the disease often coexists with urethritis and prostatitis, which are difficult to treat infectious diseases, the difficulty of treating orchitis is increased. Especially for those who suffer from chronic orchitis repeatedly, sometimes they have to undergo vasectomy or orchiectomy, which brings great harm to the patients. General treatment: bed rest, local hot compress and scrotal elevation. Antibiotics are ineffective for viral orchitis, and Chinese medicine differentiation and treatment is required. Oral fluazifop, 0.2g each time, 3 times a day; or teligot, 0.2g each time, 2 times a day, for 5-7 days. Intravenous penicillin 6.4 million u/day, twice a day, for 3-5 days. Those who are allergic to penicillin can use intravenous cyclofloxacin lactate injection, 200 mg each time for adults, once every 12 hours, for 3-5 days. Gentomycin can also be injected intramuscularly, 80,000 u each time, twice a day, for 3-5 days. Testicular pain can be caused by severe testicular twisting, especially during strenuous activities, or due to trauma. Therefore, do not do too much physical exercise. Orchitis can cause pain, so avoiding bacterial infection and timely treatment of testicular injuries are the key to prevention. Testicular ischemia can cause pain, and proper rest can relieve this pain. To prevent this pain, you need to combine work and rest, especially the elderly should not overwork, otherwise it is easy to cause testicular ischemia and pain. |
