Can male seborrheic alopecia be cured and what are the specific methods?

Many people don't know much about seborrheic dermatitis. It is actually an inflammatory skin disease that often occurs on the scalp and face. Many people feel that their scalp is itchy or their face is red. Itching may be caused by seborrheic dermatitis. The onset of seborrheic dermatitis is basically due to climate change and changes in eating habits. If seborrheic dermatitis on the head is not taken seriously, it will cause large-area hair loss in patients.

Seborrheic dermatitis is prone to occur in areas where sebum is secreted, most commonly on the head, face, chest and back. The skin lesions initially appear as follicular papules, which gradually expand and merge into dark red or yellow-red spots, covered with greasy scales or crusts, and may show exudation, crusting and erosion, and present an eczema-like appearance. Accompanied by varying degrees of itching. In severe cases, the skin lesions spread all over the body, with diffuse flushing and significant desquamation, which is called seborrheic erythroderma. This disease is chronic and can recur.

Western medicine treatment of seborrheic dermatitis: Take vitamin B2 10 mg each time, 3 times a day; vitamin B6 20 mg each time, 3 times a day; or vitamin B complex 3 tablets each time, 3 times a day. Oral cystine 50 mg each time, 3 times a day;

Patients with obvious itching can take 4 mg of chlorpheniramine 3 times a day. Patients with acute and extensive lesions can take 10 mg of prednisone 3 times a day or 1.5 mg of dexamethasone 3 times a day for 5-7 days. Antibiotics should be used for those with secondary infection.

Since seborrheic dermatitis exists on the patient's head, it will make the patient's hair oily and easily cause large-area hair loss. In addition, since the hair follicles are blocked, it is difficult for new hair to regenerate. If it is not treated in time, the hair loss problem will continue to expand. Therefore, patients with seborrheic dermatitis on the head should always pay attention to the spread of the disease and carry out active targeted treatment. Get rid of the trouble of this inflammation in the early stage.
