The stomach is a part of our body, a very important part, but it is also the part that is most likely to cause disease. Because there are many organs in the stomach, and various organs can cause various pains, stomach pain is also the most common disease. However, there are many types of stomach pain. The causes of pain in the left abdomen, right abdomen, upper abdomen, and lower abdomen are all different. We cannot generalize and need to analyze specific problems specifically. So what exactly causes stomach pain? Pay attention to the possibility of appendicitis. Appendicitis is a common disease. Clinically, it often presents with right lower abdominal pain, fever, vomiting and neutrophilia. Appendicitis is an inflammation of the appendix and the most common abdominal surgical disease. The typical clinical manifestation of acute appendicitis is gradual onset of dull pain in the upper abdomen or around the umbilicus, which shifts to the right lower abdomen after a few hours. It is often accompanied by loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting. In the early stage of the disease, there are usually no obvious systemic symptoms except low fever and fatigue. If acute appendicitis is not treated early, it can develop into appendicitis gangrene and perforation, complicated by localized or diffuse peritonitis. Treatment: Simple acute appendicitis can be cured by non-surgical treatment, but patients with chronic inflammation or narrow lumen are prone to recurrence. Therefore, once acute appendicitis is diagnosed, emergency surgery should be performed to remove the diseased appendix. Appendicitis develops very quickly, so surgery should be performed in time. For patients with unclear diagnosis, if the patient has local peritonitis or obvious systemic infection, laparotomy should also be performed to avoid delaying treatment. If the appendix is found to have no acute inflammation during surgery, other acute lesions should be explored. If the appendix has formed surrounding abscesses when the patient is diagnosed, non-surgical treatment should be performed first. After the abscess is absorbed, the appendix should be removed after 3 months or half a year. Life care: 1. Strengthen physical fitness and pay attention to hygiene. 2. Be careful not to get cold and eat irregularly. 3. Treat constipation and intestinal parasites in time. The appendix is a small part of the stomach that is useless. It can get inflamed from time to time, and in severe cases, it needs to be removed surgically. So we should pay more attention to healthy eating in our lives to avoid causing appendicitis. If it has become inflamed, don't think it is a minor problem and don't care about it. You need to go to the hospital in time and seek help from a doctor. |
