How to treat penile sebaceous gland inflammation?

Many male patients suffer from genital diseases, which seriously affect their physical health. Therefore, patients need to take timely treatment measures to ensure their physical health, especially genital problems, to avoid affecting the health of patients due to this problem. So how should penile sebaceous gland inflammation be treated? Let me introduce it to you below.

1. Ask about the time of onset, location, and development of the tumor during the medical history.

2. The cyst is a single or multiple, soft or slightly firm spherical mass with a diameter of about 1 to 3 cm, located in the skin or subcutaneous tissue, adhered to the skin, but the base can move. Sometimes small black spots can be seen on the surface of the cyst due to obstruction of the sebaceous gland opening.

3. Pay attention to the differentiation from dermoid cyst and epidermoid cyst:

(1) Dermoid cyst: It is located under the skin and is not adhered to the skin but is tightly adhered to the underlying tissue. It often grows near the midline of the body and is prone to occur around the eye sockets, the root of the nose, the occipital region, and the floor of the mouth.

(2) Epidermoid cyst: It is a type of cyst containing keratin in the dermis. It is usually caused by trauma (especially puncture) that implants the epidermis into the dermis. There is often keratin hyperplasia on the surface of the tumor. It often occurs in areas that are susceptible to trauma and pressure, such as the hands and ankles.

Treatment principles

1. Surgical removal: Once diagnosed, the cyst should be completely removed surgically.

2. Patients with concurrent infection should be given oral antibiotics (such as enhanced sulfamethoxazole tablets, medroxyprogesterone, etc.) and anti-inflammatory treatments such as hot compresses, and surgical resection should be performed after the inflammation subsides.

Surgery is the only treatment for sebaceous cysts. During surgery, a fusiform skin incision is made along the skin lines, especially when the catheter opening is seen, and the cyst is removed together with the skin.

The above is my opinion on this issue that I introduced to you. If the patient has the above problems, then the patient can take the above method to perform excision surgery. This is the only way to effectively treat the disease of penile sebaceous gland inflammation and avoid causing harm to the patient. Finally, I wish the patient a speedy recovery.
