Causes of acne in boys

Causes of acne in boys

Acne is a symbol of ugliness for us and is also a standard of puberty. Many people are troubled by acne and think of many ways to treat it, but do you have an in-depth understanding of the types and species of acne? Have you seriously thought about why it appears? Boys also pay attention to their appearance, not just girls. Today, let’s discuss the differences between boys and girls in getting acne.

Internal factors

1. Endocrine disorders: Endocrine disorders cause excessive sebum secretion, which cannot be discharged smoothly and blocks the hair follicles, creating the prerequisite for the occurrence of acne.

2. Abnormal keratinization of hair follicles: Normally, the stratum corneum on the upper part of the hair follicle opening is thin and easy to fall off, thus ensuring that the hair follicle opening is unobstructed and sebum flows out smoothly; on the contrary, if the stratum corneum becomes thicker and is not easy to fall off, the sebum that cannot flow out in time will be blocked at the hair follicle opening, forming acne;

3. Excessive skin oil: The sebaceous glands are too developed, and the excessive secretion of sebum, which cannot be discharged in time, will block the pores. Sebum accumulates in the pores, which easily become a nutritional environment for acne bacteria, trichoderma, mites, etc., causing infection and inducing acne;

4. Sex hormones: The sebaceous glands of the skin have a receptor for male hormones. Some people's receptors are very sensitive. If the secretion of hormones changes slightly, it will affect the secretion of sebum. Some women will develop acne before and after the menstrual cycle, or when they stay up late or are under great pressure.

5. Individual factors: Menstrual irregularities, constipation, excessive stress or worry, puberty, improper skin care, and skin disease treatment may all lead to the growth of acne.

External factors

1. Dirty skin: The metabolic cycle of the stratum corneum of the skin is 28 days. If the stratum corneum is not metabolized normally and becomes thick, the oil secreted by the sebaceous glands cannot be discharged normally, which is easy to breed acne;

2. Drug stimulation: Certain drugs, such as oral contraceptives, slimming drugs, menstrual drugs, or drugs containing bromide or iodide, can stimulate endocrine imbalance or cause toxin accumulation to form "acne";

3. Improper use of cosmetics: Cosmetics containing heavy metals such as lead and mercury can induce acne; oily skin care products are only suitable for dry skin, otherwise, they will block hair follicles and cause acne;

4. Lifestyle and eating habits: high stress, long-term fatigue, poor sleep quality, preference for spicy, greasy, seafood, fried foods, and excessive smoking and drinking can all stimulate the hypertrophy of sebaceous glands, secrete a large amount of sebum, and induce acne;

5. Environmental factors: including seasonal temperature changes and pollution from air, soil, water, food, noise, ultraviolet rays, etc., which often keep the skin in a tense defensive state, slowing down skin metabolism, causing skin resistance to decline and easily inducing acne.

1.

Facial Cleansing

: Wash your face with warm water, because cold water is not easy to remove oil, hot water promotes sebum secretion, do not use irritating soap, sulfur soap is beneficial for acne.

2.

Eat right

: Eat more vegetables and fruits, eat less fat, sugar, spicy and other irritating foods, and keep your bowels open.

3.

Keep a peaceful mind

: A peaceful state of mind is the prerequisite for treating any disease. For men with acne, they should not have any psychological burden, so as to avoid neuroendocrine disorders and worsen acne.

No squeezing of acne

4. Do not squeeze acne with your hands to avoid causing pus-filled inflammation. After the pus-filled skin ruptures and is absorbed, scars and pigmentation may form.

Now you know why you have long hair, right? Actually, you don’t need to be so sad. Take it slow. Pay attention to your daily living habits, pay attention to the hygiene of your face, eat less greasy food, keep a happy mood, and do more exercise to eliminate toxins from your body. I hope the above methods can help you.
