Prostatitis Dietary Precautions

Prostatitis Dietary Precautions

Symptoms of prostatitis patients generally present with frequent urination and incomplete urination. At this time, patients should find out the problem in time. People who drive for a long time are prone to prostatitis because they put pressure on our urinary system for a long time. We should properly relieve the pressure on the prostate. For patients, daily diet is very important for the relief of the disease.

The main dietary taboos for prostatitis are:

1. Patients with prostatitis cannot smoke or drink. Patients may know that smoking can cause impotence, but they do not know that smoking can also increase prostate congestion, thereby aggravating the symptoms of acute and chronic prostatitis. Drinking can dilate organ blood vessels and increase blood perfusion, thus aggravating prostate congestion and causing recurrence of cured prostatitis.

2. People with prostatitis cannot eat spicy food: scallions, raw garlic, chili peppers, pepper and other irritating foods, although they can increase the taste of dishes, they can also cause blood vessel dilation and organ congestion. For patients with prostatitis, these foods cannot be eaten, otherwise it will cause prostatitis to be prolonged and difficult to cure.

3. Some meats cannot be eaten by patients with prostatitis: dog, beef, mutton, seafood, etc. These meats are considered to be delicacies that can enhance virility and vitality. However, Chinese medicine believes that prostatitis is caused by dampness, so if drugs that enhance virility are used to promote urination, their effects may not be as expected. In addition, after years of clinical observation, eating the above-mentioned meats can often lead to worsening of the disease.

4. For prostate hyperplasia, rich, spicy and sweet foods can easily cause endogenous dampness and heat and inhibit the circulation of qi and blood. Therefore, elderly people with prostate hyperplasia should pay attention to a light diet.

For prostate patients, the first thing to do is to find out the cause of the disease in time. It is very effective to relieve the symptoms through daily diet. The method of dietary therapy requires patients to be patient. Patients should try to avoid some spicy foods. Appropriate protein supplementation is still a good choice. Wet and hot foods should be reduced.
