Amy explained that this is because the male brain and spinal cord will temporarily relax after sex, which makes people feel tired. The duration of this relaxation varies depending on age and physical condition. Generally, young people recover faster than middle-aged people over 40 years old, and people who exercise regularly recover faster than weak people.

Amy suggests that men may do some back stretching exercises after sex and before going to bed to enhance the motor function of the spinal nerves and promote the disappearance of fatigue. The back stretching action is very simple: first stand up straight, hold a fixed object with both hands to keep the body balanced, then tilt your head back and bend your back as far as possible, lift your buttocks backward and upward, and focus on the back neck and back muscles until you can feel a comfortable stretch in the lumbar spine and back. Or straighten your back, stretch your hands straight, and lift them up as far as possible, feeling like you are pulling yourself up.
