HPV is human papillomavirus infection, a type of viral infection that primarily invades the body. If a man is infected with HPV and there is an abnormal increase in microorganisms in the male reproductive organs or anal canal, the HPV test is low risk (), which can diagnose infection with condyloma acuminatum. If it grows in other parts of the human body, such as the face or body, and there are some protruding tumors on the surface of the skin, then it is classified as infectious soft warts, which is also an infection with human papillomavirus. If the wart is not damaged, it is not infectious, but it can be infected by itself. HPV is a human papillomavirus infection, there are 100 different types, which can infect the skin and mucous membranes. According to the different infection sites, HPV can be divided into cutaneous type and mucous membrane type, and the resulting lesions are generally called warts. There is no big difference in the symptoms of HPV infection between men and women. The difference is that due to the difference in reproductive structure, HPV infection in the genitals is easier to detect in men than in women. Cutaneous HPV only infects the skin, causing common warts, flat warts, and hand and foot warts, which are mostly manifested as papules or lumps with protruding round tops, with a relatively rough surface and black spots. Mucosal HPV infects the mucosa, and the resulting disease is condyloma acuminatum, which usually occurs in the genitals, perineum, around the anus, and at the junction of the skin and mucosa. At first, it is a tiny reddish papule, which then gradually expands and proliferates, and the proliferation is a wart-like protrusion with an uneven surface, which may be cauliflower-like growths or cockscomb-like. Some people have HPV infection in the genitals without clinical manifestations, and they can turn white after wiping with 5% acetic acid solution, which is called subclinical infection. Some people have negative acetic acid white test, but HPV infection is found according to laboratory examination, which is called latent infection. HPV in male patients is often found in the frenulum, prepuce, coronal sulcus, urethral opening, male genitals, anal opening and scrotum. Symptoms of HPV in males include: condyloma acuminatum on the scrotum, male genitals, urethral opening, glans penis, etc.; large tumor-like growths such as cauliflower-like growths, nipple-like growths or cockscomb-like growths may grow in the anus; there may be discomfort; dark red or bright red millet-sized growths may gradually increase or expand with the development of the present medical history; sometimes there may be itching and discomfort in the genitals, blood in the urine or difficulty urinating. |
