Morning erections reveal a man's health

When the sun rises in the morning, the man's penis will also stand up, just like an alarm clock. This phenomenon is called "morning erection", which is a special power given to men by nature.

In medicine, morning erection refers to the spontaneous erection of the male penis in the early morning without any awareness, which is generally not controlled by the situation, action or thoughts. The main reasons for morning erection are as follows:

First, it is related to male hormone levels. After a night's sleep, men's male hormone levels reach a peak in the morning, causing morning erections.

Second, the pressure in the bladder filled with urine in the early morning increases, stimulating the internal organs and causing a subconscious reflex erection of the penis.

Third, some people believe that morning erections are a result of human evolution. Men have the highest testosterone levels at sunrise and the lowest at sunset, and nature uses this to ensure that men have a chance to pass on their genes before going out, so that they don't go out hunting and don't have a chance to return home due to an accident.

Morning erections usually start during adolescence. The number of erections is highest between the ages of 20 and 30, and gradually decreases with age and physical aging after middle age. Morning erections are affected by many factors. Hypertension, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes, etc. may cause morning erections to decrease or disappear.

At the same time, lack of sleep, excessive fatigue, and bad mood may also affect morning erections. In addition, anti-tumor drugs, antihypertensive drugs, hypoglycemic drugs, antacids, sedatives, and Chinese medicines such as Anemarrhena asphodeloides and Phellodendron amurense can all reduce the number of morning erections. Therefore, morning erections can be used to observe the physical condition of men and are one of the reference standards for health.

In fact, men's penises also get erections during sleep, usually during the dreaming stage. Generally speaking, young and middle-aged men will have 3 to 5 repeated erections every night, each lasting an average of 15 minutes. Repeated erections at night can pump more oxygen-rich blood into the penis, helping it restore energy.

If your morning or nighttime erections subside, don't be too nervous. You should find out the health reasons in time, get more rest, pay attention to observation, and go to the hospital for treatment if necessary.
