But don't underestimate the ability of the scrotum, it is too important for human reproduction. Because temperature has a great influence on the testicular spermatogenesis process. The temperature inside the scrotum is about 2°C lower than the body temperature, which is the most suitable temperature for spermatogenesis; if the temperature is too high, spermatogenesis will be hindered or even completely stopped, and the secretion of testosterone will also decrease. These changes may lead to male infertility or sexual dysfunction.

Therefore, in summer, men should pay special attention to the care of the scrotum, which can be simply summarized as "two more and two less": more activities to give the scrotum more opportunities to dissipate heat; less sitting and less wearing tight underwear. Specifically, it can be divided into the following aspects: avoid long-term exposure to high temperature environment, try not to wear jeans; it is recommended that men take off their outer pants after returning home and wear a loose, thin, breathable cotton underwear; do not sleep on your stomach to avoid squeezing the scrotum, if conditions permit, you can sleep naked; take fewer saunas or hot baths; take a break every hour when driving or riding a car.
