Men should be careful about six types of "lasting ejaculation" drugs

Dear male friends, do you know which drugs can put you at risk of "infertility"? Today, we will introduce them to you so that you don't harm your body when taking drugs. Female friends also need to know what drugs have what side effects, infertility is a big problem!

1. Drugs that directly inhibit spermatogenesis

For example, dichlorodiphenylmethane is an insecticide, but it also has the effect of inhibiting spermatogenesis; other drugs, such as dinitropyrroles, nitrofurans, anti-cancer alkylating agents, and recently studied gossypol extracted from cotton seeds, all have a strong inhibitory effect on testicular spermatogenesis.

2. Drugs that affect sperm maturation

For example, the use of anti-androgen compounds such as methylchlormadinone acetate and chloroglycerol-type drugs, although they have little effect on testicular sperm function, have a direct effect on sperm produced by the testicles, preventing the sperm from maturing and losing their fertilization ability.

3. Hormone drugs

The use of drugs such as estrogen, progesterone and testosterone propionate can inhibit the secretion of pituitary gonadotropin, thereby inhibiting the spermatogenic function of the testicles.

4. Drugs that affect ejaculation

For example, drugs such as guanethidine and thioridazine for treating high blood pressure can reduce the amount of ejaculation or even prevent ejaculation. Some drugs can inhibit the ejaculation reflex and delay ejaculation, such as pheniramine and clomipramine.

5. Drugs that kill sperm

Many topical drugs, such as surfactants, organometallic compounds (phenylmercuric acetate, etc.) and weak acids, have a direct sperm-killing effect. If such topical drugs are frequently used to treat female reproductive tract diseases, such as vaginal suppositories, they will inevitably affect fertility.
