Can varicocele heal on its own?

Can varicocele heal on its own?

Varicitis is a common infection of the male reproductive system. It usually develops rapidly and can cause obvious symptoms of local pain. The pain can radiate along the spermatic cord to the patient's groin, and sometimes even to the upper toes or lower abdomen. So is it curable when varicocele occurs? Let's find out.

Can Varicosis be Cured?

Generally, it is not easy to cure. Timely treatment and elimination of the infectious factors are required to prevent the inflammation from getting worse. Therefore, when a man finds that the spermatic cord is inflamed, he must seek medical attention in time and treat the cause of the disease to more effectively eliminate the inflammation and prevent the spermatic cord inflammation from causing greater pain to himself.

Symptoms of Varicortitis

Typical symptoms

The onset is acute, with more pronounced local pain, which can radiate along the flexor flexor to the groin, and even to the upper toes or lower abdomen.

Key clinical symptoms

The surface skin is red and itchy, the spermatozoa are enlarged and thickened in a hammer-shaped or cord-like manner, there is obvious dull pain, and the ejaculatory duct is unclear. If a cyst is produced, there may be a sense of fluctuation.

The spermatic cord starts from the groin, runs obliquely inward and downward, opens the scrotum, and ends at the edge of the male testicle. It is a soft round cord that suspends the male testicle and epitesticular cyst. After getting spermatic cord inflammation, the inflammation can cause the spermatic cord to enlarge, thicken, and swell. When it adheres to the surrounding tissues, it can cause scrotal swelling and pain, lower abdominal pain, and traction pain in the vulva. If the infection is more serious, there will also be systemic reactions such as fever and headache.

There are also some symptoms that are similar to those of spermatic corditis, such as pain in the scrotum, perineum and lower abdomen, which should be differentiated in many aspects. Such symptoms include varicocele, hydrocele of the spermatic flexure, tuberculosis of the spermatic flexure or epididymis, testicular torsion and traumatic abscess, scrotal filariasis, spermatic flexure tumor, etc. After the diagnosis is confirmed, treatment can be started.

Causes of spermatic cord inflammation

1. The severed end of the seminal flexure is left too long, and a lot of necrotic tissue remains, causing it to be immersed in the blood and exudate of the scrotal wound, increasing the chance of infection.

2. Rough and excessive pulling of the spermatic curve and common tunica vaginalis during castration, using instruments with large cross-sectional areas to cause excessive necrotic tissue residues, etc., are all conducive to the occurrence of infection.

3. Environmental contamination by foreign bodies, such as hair, dust, straw fragments, plant thorns, and poorly sterilized thick ligation threads, are all factors that cause infection of the spermatozoon stump after castration.

4. The castration wound is too small, the wound of the common tunica vaginalis and the scrotum is inconsistent, the wound is biased to the front and back or to the side, and the wound edge is adhered, which leads to the accumulation of blood and exudate in the common tunica vaginalis cavity, creating excellent conditions for the growth and development of microorganisms.
