The role of zinc in men

The role of zinc in men

Zinc is of key practical significance to men. It can improve sexual ability, growth and development, increase sperm survival rate, and has a certain conditioning and treatment effect on infertility. When the body lacks zinc, it may cause testicular shrinkage and reduced sperm density, which can easily lead to male infertility and other symptoms. If the patient is zinc deficient, supplementary treatment should be carried out as soon as possible. The patient can take zinc gluconate granules or licorice zinc capsules for symptomatic treatment. In terms of diet, you can eat more seafood and seafood ingredients. Patients should eat a healthy diet, avoid excessive drinking, smoking and other bad habits, avoid staying up late, and make sure they get enough rest.

Zinc is an essential nutrient for the body. Zinc plays a key role in the human body. Zinc can promote the body's development, maintain the body's normal appetite, enhance the body's immunity, and promote wound healing. People with calcium deficiency are prone to poor appetite, indigestion, and low immunity. Zinc mainly comes from foods rich in iron. Patients who need to supplement zinc can eat pickled shrimp, walnut kernels, egg yolks, seafood, etc., which are rich in iron.

Sperm zinc has a great impact on the quality of sperm. Zinc is an essential nutrient for the body. As the second messenger of more than 100 enzymes in the body, it is closely related to the metabolism of the urinary system. The zinc content in the sperm of a normal man is generally around 4.38mmol/L, which is more than 100 times the zinc content in the blood. Scientific research shows that when the zinc content in the male reproductive tract is higher, the spermatogenic ability is also more active. Clinical experiments show that nearly half of male infertile people have sperm zinc less than 0.17mmol/L. Therefore, it can be inferred that low zinc is one of the causes of male infertility.

Zinc is positively correlated with the quality and relative density of sperm. Calcium deficiency will affect the metabolism and motility of sperm, thus "delaying" the growth and development of testicles. When zinc is insufficient, it will directly "damage" the prostate tissue, and sperm contains one-third of semen, which will also cause poor sperm liquefaction, reduce the motility of sperm, and thus affect the fertilization process.
