The problem of high prostate antigen ratio can only be detected after a detailed physical examination. It cannot be identified with the naked eye. Do not take any therapeutic drugs at home easily. These will cover up the original condition and make your treatment inaccurate. When you know that the test results are abnormal, you can do other tests to further confirm the disease. Abnormal results: When prostate cancer grows in the capsule, it is difficult to diagnose with CT. It can only be diagnosed when it breaks through the capsule and infiltrates into the surrounding fat tissue. The manifestations are irregular prostate contours and uneven density. The anterior rectal wall and bladder wall may be infiltrated, and the seminal vesicle angle disappears. CT can also detect lymph node metastasis and pelvic metastasis. CT is helpful for the staging of prostate cancer. On MRI, prostate hyperplasia mainly occurs in the central area, so T2WI shows enlargement of the central area. Prostate cancer mostly occurs in the peripheral area, resulting in localized low or slightly low signal nodules in the peripheral area on T2WI. Therefore, MRI is more valuable in diagnosis than CT. However, when the MRI manifestations of prostate cancer are atypical, diagnosis is still difficult. People who need to be checked: middle-aged and elderly men who often have difficulty urinating, sometimes feel that the urine cannot be emptied, and have frequent urination due to the inability to empty the bladder, especially patients with symptoms such as increased nocturia, difficulty urinating, significantly reduced urine volume, and poor urine flow. 1. CT examination of the bladder requires appropriate swelling to distinguish the bladder wall from the inner cavity. Drink plenty of water and do not urinate to fill the bladder. 2. Empty your urine before performing a prostate digital examination. 3. When culturing prostatic fluid, you should abstain from sex for more than 5 days before collecting the prostatic fluid. Otherwise, it will affect the test results. 4. Antibiotics should be discontinued before collecting prostatic fluid culture specimens. This is because after entering the body, antibiotics can reach various tissues and organs of the human body in a short period of time, thereby inhibiting the growth and reproduction of bacteria and other microorganisms in the specimen in the culture medium, resulting in false negative results and the misdiagnosis of certain pathogens. Therefore, when a patient is receiving antibiotic treatment, whether it is for the treatment of prostatitis or other organ infections, he should generally stop taking the medicine for 3 days before collecting urine, prostatic fluid and other specimens, as well as routine examination and isolation and culture of pathogens. Of course, in some special cases, such as acute prostatitis or other special reasons that cannot wait, this point does not need to be taken into account. |
