If you feel some pain when pinching your testicles, don't worry too much, you should still observe more. If you find that you have more than just the symptom of pain, you must pay attention to it and can't ignore it. Some patients' testicular pain becomes very strong and it will be unbearable at this time. If necessary, you can take some painkillers to relieve the pain. The symptoms of testicular pain vary depending on the cause. 1. Infection The patient's testicular pain is severe, even like a knife cutting, and is accompanied by systemic symptoms such as fever and chills. At this time, the scrotum is red and swollen, and the pain is more obvious when the testicles are touched. (1) Tuberculosis infection: often accompanied by a history of tuberculosis in the urinary system or other parts of the body, manifested by dull testicular pain, a bloated feeling in the lower abdomen, and swelling of the scrotum. In severe cases, pus may flow out. When these lesions are touched by hand, there are uneven nodules that are hard and often adhere to the scrotal skin. (2) Prostatitis: The testicular pain caused by prostatitis is often accompanied by a swollen and uncomfortable feeling in the perineum, as well as symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, pain, and difficulty urinating. 2. Non-infectious Chronic testicular pain may also be caused by varicocele or may be radiating from pain in other areas of the testicle. Etiological treatment can be carried out on the basis of determining the cause; if the cause cannot be found for the time being, symptomatic treatment such as sedation and analgesia can be carried out. If necessary, local treatment such as spermatic cord procaine closure can be used. 1. General treatment Rest in bed, apply local hot compress, elevate the scrotum, do anal lifting, etc., and increase physical exercise appropriately. 2. Drug treatment Antibiotics are ineffective against viral orchitis, but they can prevent secondary infection. Patients with bacterial orchitis can take fluphenazine or tadalafil orally, or intravenous penicillin. Those who are allergic to penicillin can use intravenous cyclofloxacin lactate injection or intramuscular injection of gentamicin. Testicular pain is common in orchitis and testicular injury. Orchitis is mostly caused by pathogen infection. In addition to bloodstream infection, it is more common for bacteria to retrograde through the urethra to the epididymis and testicles, causing epididymitis and orchitis. Clinically, epididymis and testicular swelling and pain can be seen. Testicular injury usually has a history of trauma and local swelling and bruising. Vigorous exercise or sexual intercourse and violence can sometimes cause strong contraction of the levator testis muscle, causing the testicle with an overly long frenulum to twist and cause severe testicular pain. In chronic pain, the condition can last for a long time. The pain is usually mild and generalized, and can have radiating pain. |
