For male friends, excessive foreskin or long foreskin will cause great trouble in their daily life. If the foreskin is too long, it must be treated according to the method of circumcision surgery. After all, surgical treatment will cause some trauma, so people are also very concerned about how long it will take for the scars from circumcision surgery to fall off?

After circumcision surgery, scarring will occur, but it usually takes 7 to 14 days for the scab to fall off. Before the scab falls off, you must not pull it off forcefully, otherwise it will cause skin damage, leading to bleeding and affecting the recovery process after surgery.

After the operation, the surgical treatment area must be kept clean and dry. If the operation is performed in summer, be sure to wear loose clothes and pants, and do not stay outdoors. Try to stay in an air-conditioned room. The temperature in summer is relatively high. If you sweat too much, the sweat will flow to the surgical treatment area, which can easily cause local infection and affect the recovery period of the operation.

After the circumcision surgery, don't forget to go to the hospital for regular follow-up. The purpose of the follow-up is to see how the surgical wound is healing and whether there is any infection. If there is no infection, it would be great. You can wait patiently for a while and then resume your daily life.

Therefore, we recommend that patients who have undergone circumcision surgery go to the outpatient clinic of the same hospital where the surgery was performed to check the condition of the wound, and have the doctor check regularly to see if there is any inflammation in the wound and whether antibiotics are needed. Another reminder is that after the circumcision surgery, the patient will often unconsciously get an erection at night. When it gets erect, the male genitals will swell and cause pain in the wound. We can use some tranquilizers to reduce and suppress his genital erection and reduce the pain of foreskin being too long.
