Simple method of sperm stain detection

Semen stain testing can be used to determine whether a woman has been raped or invaded by a man. Semen stain testing is also a relatively mature technology in modern medical testing. The test results are often used as evidence, but the process of using traditional semen stain testing methods is relatively complicated and requires a long wait to get the test results. So is there a simpler testing method than the traditional semen stain testing method?

The Ice-Bene sperm stain test strips use specific immunoassays, which can specifically identify the semen components of sperm stains, and have no cross-reaction to ordinary female secretions without semen and other body fluids. Very accurate.

Semen stains: Semen stains are marks formed after semen soaks or adheres to the substrate and dries. Semen stains are caused by ejaculation or prostatic fluid that sticks to underwear or bedding during sexual stimulation. The marks formed after the semen dries are slightly harder than the surrounding fabrics. To put it in an analogy, they are like the state of paste after it dries.

Semen stains are often found on the clothes of suspects or victims, the vulva or inner thighs of women, and on bedding, towels, paper, straw mats, sand, and soil at the scene.

Leucorrhea: Leucorrhea is secretion from the vagina. Under normal circumstances, the amount is small, white, sticky, and odorless. It contains mucus secreted by the cervix, exudates from the vaginal mucosa, epidermal cells shed from the uterus and vagina, and a small amount of white blood cells and non-pathogenic vaginal bacilli. When there is inflammation or tumor in the reproductive organs, due to inflammatory exudates or tissue necrosis, vaginal discharge may increase, and be purulent or bloody, and have a foul odor. It is advisable to check it out in time.

Difference: In terms of shape: Leucorrhea is a gelatinous substance. If there is a lot of it, it will solidify into a hard lump that can be scooped off. Semen will liquefy after a period of time. No matter how much semen there is, it will not solidify into a lump like semen stains. At most, it will form a water stain on the clothes. In terms of cleaning: Leucorrhea can be washed off by rubbing with warm water and laundry soap; while semen stains are very difficult to clean.
