How to treat trichomonas vaginitis in men

Trichomonas scrotitis is a common male disease. This male disease is contagious and its destructiveness is also quite extensive. When a man gets this disease, he must be treated immediately, otherwise it will affect his normal sexual life and reproductive function. During the treatment period, men should avoid sexual life to prevent women from being infected. So how should trichomonas scrotitis be treated?

Treatment of trichomonal vaginitis: metronidazole (Methionine) 200mg, oral, 3 times a day for 7 days as a course of treatment; 1% lactic acid or 0.5% acetic acid or 1:5000 potassium permanganate for vaginal irrigation or sitz bath, once a day, then take metronidazole 200mg vaginal medicine, you can also choose to use divijing or carbazol. Note: Both husband and wife receive treatment at the same time, no sexual life during treatment, boil underwear and towels for disinfection, avoid alcohol during medication, after trichomonas turns negative, check leucorrhea after each menstruation, and it is cured when the trichomonas test is negative for 3 consecutive times.

The complete cure of trichomonal vaginitis requires systemic medication and avoidance of vaginal dosing. The main treatment drugs are nitroimidazole drugs, which are used systemically. The initial treatment generally uses 2g of metronidazole, which is taken orally once, and the cure rate can reach 90%-95%, or 400mg of metronidazole, twice a day, for 7 consecutive days. However, if you take metronidazole, you should avoid breastfeeding within 12-24 hours of taking the medicine. If you take metronidazole, you should avoid breastfeeding within 3 days after taking the medicine. Trichomonal vaginitis is mainly transmitted by sexual behavior, so sexual partners should be treated at the same time, and unprotected sex should be avoided during treatment.

Certain bacteria can induce trichomonas to become active and produce symptoms, but antibodies in the body can be directly or indirectly transmitted, mainly through baths, bathing utensils, swimming pools or medical equipment that has not been thoroughly disinfected. Direct transmission can be through sexual intercourse, and the patient's urine and feces from the male urinary system may also be the source. The treatment of trichomonas vaginitis includes local treatment and systemic treatment. Currently, systemic treatment is the main method. The usage is oral administration of Metformin, 200-250 mg each time, 3 times a day, 7-10 days as a course of treatment, and 2-3 courses of treatment are used in succession.
