Prostatitis urethral itching

Men should also pay attention to their genital hygiene like women, because if men do not pay attention to their genital hygiene, they may also develop a series of male diseases. The most common male diseases are glans inflammation and prostatitis. Most of these inflammations are caused by bacterial infections. Some men find that their urethra is very itchy. Is urethral itching caused by prostatitis?

1. Is urethral itching caused by prostatitis?

Is urethral itching caused by prostatitis? I haven't found any relevant evidence on the Internet, so it's better to consult a doctor. However, prostatitis can cause urethral itching. Since the prostate and posterior urethra in men's bodies are connected, if prostatitis is not treated in time, the urethra is likely to be infected, causing urethritis and uncomfortable symptoms such as urethral itching.

2. Symptoms of prostatitis

2.1. Mental symptoms: fatigue, depression, memory loss, decreased self-confidence, etc.

2.2. Sexual function: thin, milky, watery or viscous discharge from the urethra in the morning or during bowel movements, or accompanied by spermatorrhea, premature ejaculation, hematospermia, ejaculation disorders, and decreased libido. Particularly serious harm can cause male infertility, affect the secretory function of the prostate, affect the liquefaction time of semen, reduce sperm motility, and lead to infertility.

2.3. Discomfort in the genitals and surrounding areas: Patients with prostatitis often experience discomfort in the perineum, testicles, lower abdomen, posterior urethra, lumbosacral region, anus, groin, penis and glans. The perineum may feel heavy and swollen, and there may also be tingling or severe pain, which may radiate to the lower back and inner thighs.

2.4. Urinary tract symptoms: frequent urination, incomplete urination, dribbling urine, painful urination, burning sensation in the urethra, urgent urination, dysuria, and yellow urine are common. People with dysuria sometimes need to wait for more than ten seconds to urinate, their urination is intermittent, or even impossible to urinate. After drinking various alcoholic beverages, they often need to urinate every 10-15 minutes.

3. Diagnosis of prostatitis

3.1. Rectal examination: The prostate gland is full, enlarged, soft and slightly tender. If the disease lasts for a long time, the prostate gland will become smaller, harder, uneven in texture and have small nodules. At the same time, the prostate gland massage method should be used to obtain prostate fluid and perform a routine examination.

3.2. Prostatic fluid examination If the number of white blood cells in the prostatic fluid exceeds 10 in the high-power field of view of the microscope and the number of lecithin bodies decreases, prostatitis can be diagnosed. If bacterial culture is performed at the same time, a clear diagnosis and classification of chronic prostatitis can be made. If the bacterial culture result of prostatitis fluid is positive, chronic bacterial prostatitis is diagnosed. Otherwise, it is chronic non-bacterial prostatitis.

3.3. B-ultrasound examination shows that the boundaries of the prostate tissue structure are unclear and disordered, which may indicate prostatitis.

Treatment of prostatitis

1. Surgical treatment

Prostatitis can be treated with surgery, but surgical treatment is relatively rare, and you must grasp the key points of treatment. The rate of seminal vesicle invasion in patients with prostatitis is very high, so you must go to a regular hospital for treatment to avoid complications.

2. General treatment

The general treatment for prostatitis is medication, self-regulation and health care methods. The early symptoms of prostatitis are not very serious and are relatively easy to cure completely.

3. Massage treatment methods

Prostatitis can be treated by massage, which is a very ideal method, but it must be taken seriously. Massaging prostatitis mainly refers to massaging the outer layer of the gland, which directly promotes the emptying of the prostate ducts and increases the concentration of the drug, achieving a certain auxiliary treatment effect and relieving prostatitis.

4. Diet therapy methods

You can drink a moderate amount of pork and white orchid soup every day. You need to wash 200 grams of lean pork, cut it into pieces, and boil it with 30 grams of new white orchid. Finally, add appropriate salt seasoning. Drink it once a day, which is especially effective in relieving prostatitis.
