Dangers of prostate hypertrophy and calcification

Dangers of prostate hypertrophy and calcification

More and more prostate diseases emerge in an endless stream, which will have a great impact on the bodies of many patients. First of all, although there are no special symptoms when the disease first occurs, it is enough to cause the patient to need a period of recovery, otherwise it will be difficult to cure. For example, prostate hypertrophy often occurs in many people who are busy for a long time and do not pay attention to their health.

How harmful is prostate enlargement with calcification to men?

If prostate hypertrophy with calcification is not treated in time, it can easily lead to the following hazards:

1. Induce hernia and other diseases in the elderly: Some patients with prostatic hypertrophy will experience dysuria and need to exert force and hold their breath to urinate. Due to frequent force, the intestines will protrude from the weak part of the abdomen, forming a hernia (small intestinal gas). Sometimes patients will also develop hemorrhoids and varicose veins in the lower limbs.

Elderly

2. Damage to the kidneys and even uremia: As the enlarged prostate compresses the urethra, the bladder needs to contract vigorously to overcome the resistance and discharge urine. Over time, the bladder muscles will become hypertrophic.

3. Bladder stones: When the urinary tract is unobstructed, stones generally do not grow in the bladder. Even if stones fall from the ureter into the bladder, they can be discharged with urine. This is different for elderly people with prostate hypertrophy.

4. Causes urinary retention and urinary incontinence: Urinary retention can occur at any stage of the disease, mostly due to sudden congestion and edema of the prostate caused by climate change, drinking, and fatigue.

Since the harm is so serious, male friends must pay attention to it. If they find it, they must go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time.

When prostate hypertrophy and calcification occur, the following nursing work should be done:

1. Do not overwork, do not stay up late, have a regular life, have a regular routine, and prevent colds. Colds and overwork can easily lead to low immune function and cause recurring prostate diseases;

2. Eat less meat. Eating too much meat and acidic foods (such as egg yolks, cheese, desserts, tuna, flounder, etc.) will cause an acidic body constitution and make you susceptible to many diseases.
