Is it good for a man to have a mole on his left cheek?

Some people think that it is not good for a man to have a mole on his left cheek. In fact, it is not like that. The main thing is to find out the specific reason why you have a mole. There are many reasons that can cause something to grow in your body. The most critical one is that it has something to do with genetics. If this is the case, it will become more complicated and more difficult to alleviate.

Usually starts to appear after the age of two. Can occur on the skin and mucous membranes of any part of the body. Lesions are flat or slightly raised macules or maculopapules, or can be hemispherical, papilloma-shaped or pedunculated, with a smooth surface, with or without hair, and can be single, a few or dozens in number. Lesions can be brown, blue-black or black due to the different types and contents of pigments in the nevus cells, while non-pigmented lesions are mostly skin-colored.

According to the different locations of nevus cells in the skin, they can be divided into junctional nevus, mixed nevus and intradermal nevus. Flat lesions are junctional nevus, slightly raised lesions are mostly mixed nevus, and papilloma-like lesions and almost all hemispherical and pedunculated lesions are intradermal nevus. This disease progresses slowly and there are usually no conscious symptoms.

Moles with atypical appearance may become malignant, such as very dark moles, uneven pigmentation, uneven or irregular edges, unclear boundaries, asymmetry, and a diameter greater than 5 mm. Moles in the nail grooves and nails, extremities, oral mucosa, conjunctiva, vagina, and foreskin are more likely to become malignant melanomas than moles in other places.

Moles can be divided into broad and narrow senses. The broad sense includes various congenital and acquired melanocytic nevi, sebaceous nevi, etc. The "nevus" in medicine is narrow, also known as nevus cell nevus, pigmented nevus, melanocytic nevus or common acquired melanocytic nevus, excluding congenital melanocytic nevus. Moles are the most common benign skin tumors in humans. They are skin manifestations caused by an increase in melanocytes in the epidermis and dermis. According to the different locations of nevus cells in the skin, they can be divided into junctional nevus, mixed nevus and intradermal nevus. Flat skin lesions indicate junctional nevus, slightly raised skin lesions are mostly mixed nevus, and papilloma-like skin lesions and almost all hemispherical and pedunculated skin lesions are intradermal nevus.
