Symptoms of parathyroiditis

Symptoms of parathyroiditis

Many people do not have a special understanding of accessory glands. Accessory glands mainly refer to the glands in the pelvic area of the male urethra, which can play a certain auxiliary role in sexual life. Accessory glands include the bulbourethral glands, seminal vesicles and prostate. When accessory gland inflammation occurs, it will first lead to abnormal urination, causing frequent urination, painful urination, urgency, bifurcated urine, etc., often causing pain. In severe cases, it will cause neurasthenia in male patients.

Symptoms of parathyroiditis

1. Urinary symptoms: frequent urination, urgent urination, painful urination, frequent urination at night, dysuria, thin urine stream, forked urine, white discharge from the urethra, etc.

2. Pain: Due to the stimulation of inflammation and the pressure of hyperplasia, there is tenderness and swelling in the perineum, anus, scrotum and other parts, and it can often radiate to the lower abdomen and lumbar sacral region, making the patient miserable and restless.

3. Neurasthenia, insomnia, dreaminess, fatigue, memory loss, etc. Long-term prostatitis can even cause allergic reactions in the body, resulting in conjunctivitis, arthritis and other lesions.

4. Changes in sexual function: premature ejaculation, painful ejaculation, loss of libido or impotence. The prostate is the largest accessory gland in men and plays a key role in male infertility.

Definition of accessory glands

A number of glands surrounding the pelvic part of the male urethra. Their secretions are involved in the formation of semen or play an auxiliary role in the mating process.

Part of the reproductive organs, including the seminal vesicles, prostate glands and bulbourethral glands. During ejaculation, their secretions and the abdominal secretions of the vas deferens together form the seminal fluid.

What are the functions of accessory glands?

The accessory glands include the prostate, paired seminal vesicles, and bulbourethral glands. The secretions of the accessory glands and the vas deferens have the functions of diluting sperm, nourishing sperm, and improving the vaginal environment. Together with the sperm produced by the testicles, they make up semen.

1. Prostate: The body of the prostate is located above the urethral opening, and the diffuse part is wrapped around the pelvic part of the urethral body. The prostate secretes a thin, grayish white, fishy-smelling weak alkaline liquid that can neutralize the acidity of urine, change the dormant state of sperm, and enhance its vitality.

2. Seminal vesicle: Located on the outside of the vas deferens, it is a lobed gland. Boars have well-developed seminal vesicles and bulbourethral glands, so they ejaculate more semen.

3. Bulbourethral glands: Located on both sides of the end of the pelvic part of the urethra, behind the seminal vesicles, with triangular prism-shaped ischiocavernosus muscles on the surface. The secretion is sticky and jelly-like, pale white.

4. Vas deferens: not well developed. The terminal end and the seminal vesicle duct on the same side open on the seminal caruncle on the dorsal wall of the urethra.
