Why does a man bleed from below?

Men's lower body is an important male organ. 90% of bleeding from men's lower body is related to the urinary system because the urinary system is connected to the lower body. Prostate, kidney stones, and urinary stones can all cause bleeding from men's lower body. Another situation is exercise bleeding, which can also cause bleeding from the lower body when the amount of exercise is too large or too intense. After the first snow, you must pay attention to rest, eat a light diet, and drink plenty of water to prevent blood clots from blocking the urethra.

1. Urogenital system diseases

More than 95% of male genital bleeding is caused by urinary tract infection, among which glomerular disease, renal cysts and stones, prostatic hyperplasia, urinary tract infection and other diseases are the most common.

Hemorrhagic cystitis, urinary stones, renal tuberculosis, renal tumors, kidney and urethral injuries may also cause hematuria. Hematuria is one of the main symptoms of these diseases.

2. Benign prostatic hyperplasia

For male friends, in addition to diseases such as tumors and stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia is one of the important causes of hematuria.

Due to the increase in prostate volume and blood vessels, the blood vessels on the surface of the prostate dilate and become congested, which can cause painless hematuria. Prostatic hyperplasia is often accompanied by inflammation and bladder stones, which can make the symptoms of hematuria more obvious.

3. Kidney damage

Some people have hematuria after morning jogging or sports, but they do not feel any obvious discomfort or other associated symptoms. This is called hematuria after exercise, and the cause is kidney damage after strenuous exercise.

There is no special treatment for exercise-induced hematuria. You can take some hemostatic drugs and then rest until the hematuria disappears. In the future, you should start with a small amount of exercise and gradually increase it to improve the body's and kidneys' tolerance to exercise.

4. Urinary tract stones

Urinary tract stones are a common disease of the urinary system, which is usually accompanied by hematuria. The harm of urinary tract stones to the body ranges from "mild" to "severe".

In mild cases, it only causes some symptoms such as bloating and discomfort in the kidney area or abdomen. The movement of stones usually causes renal colic and hematuria.

In severe cases, due to large and multiple stones or stones being in the urinary tract for too long, urine outflow is blocked, leading to urinary tract infection and ureterorenal hydrops, and kidney function damage, which requires prompt treatment.

How to prevent bleeding from below

1. Take rest

Patients with lower back bleeding, especially those with visible hematuria, should absolutely rest in bed. If the lower back bleeding is caused by urinary stones and accompanied by renal angina, they can do jumping movements on the spot. The up and down shaking can promote the discharge of stones, and the pain and bleeding in the lower back will also be relieved.

2. Pay attention to your diet

Patients with lower back bleeding must pay attention to dietary health and avoid eating any spicy and irritating foods, such as white sugar, leeks, mustard, chili peppers, etc.

Eat less grilled, greasy, fishy, and warm foods, and pay attention to eating foods that have cooling and hemostatic effects, such as watercress, shepherd's purse, fresh lotus root, water chestnut, winter melon, watermelon, broad bean, persimmon cake, lotus seed, mung bean, red bean, etc. You can also eat more fruits rich in vitamin C and P, such as apples, pears, and oranges.

3. Drink plenty of water

Patients with lower bleeding must drink a lot of water or eat watermelon to increase urine volume and prevent blood clots from forming and blocking the urethra. Drinking more water can ensure the discharge of toxins, while also increasing urine volume and helping recovery.
