Prostatitis calcification is a medical term. Many people do not know what this disease is and what adverse effects it will have on patients. For male friends, the prostate is an important gland and needs to be treated in time after the disease. So, what effects will prostatitis calcification have on patients? Let's find out! Prostate calcification and fibrosis are scars left after prostate inflammation heals, and are precursors to prostate stones. Prostate stones are often associated with chronic prostatitis, and these lesions can usually be seen through B-ultrasound examinations. Due to the special structure of the prostate, there is generally no better treatment for calcification and stones. Prostate calcification (fibrosis) and stones can breed bacteria, so it is another reason for recurrent prostatitis and should not be ignored. Prostatic cysts mostly occur in adults, and are more likely to occur in diabetic patients. Clinical manifestations include urinary obstruction or defecation obstruction, and urinary obstruction often causes acute urinary retention. Sometimes thick secretions flow out of the urethra, and anal examination can feel the prostate with a pulsating feeling, but it often appears in the late stage. Occasionally, abscesses rupture into the urethra, rectum, perineum or space around the bladder, causing connective tissue inflammation. However, some patients may not have fever, and mainly show lower urinary tract obstruction. Many patients also have epididymitis and orchitis. Cyst surgery is mainly through drainage, such as perineal incision drainage or transurethral prostatectomy drainage. Symptoms 1. In the early stage, prostate hyperplasia stimulates and compresses the posterior urethra and bladder neck, causing frequent urination and urgency. 2. Urinary incontinence, especially urinary incontinence during sleep. 3. Urgent need to urinate, but unable to urinate quickly; urination is not as smooth as before, takes a long time, there is a feeling of incomplete urination, and urination is difficult. 4. The blood vessels on the mucosal surface dilate or even rupture, causing bleeding, which manifests as hematuria. 5. Acute urinary retention is caused by sudden congestion and edema of the prostate and bladder neck due to drinking, cold, fatigue, sexual intercourse, and holding urine, resulting in acute obstruction and inability to urinate on one's own. 6. Long-term bladder neck obstruction can easily cause acute urinary tract infection and aggravate the above symptoms. 7. Hydronephrosis, renal insufficiency, clinical manifestations of azotemia, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, anemia, etc. 8. In other aspects, a small number of patients may develop bladder stones and urination interruption. A small number of people may also experience hypersexuality, and sometimes have frequent penis erections, but no sexual desire. Frequent urination at night affects rest and excessive mental tension can cause symptoms such as increased blood pressure. |
